The slaver statues should have never been built but it was a different time. That is just a fact. It's not a good thing but it is history. I do feel however that Germany wouldn't have a statue of Hitler, due to the atrocities he caused...So the toppling of the slave traders statues is justified and in my opinion they should be removed. But we should ALL remember that., "Our species likely arose in many places around Africa" (Gibbons, A. 2019). Hence we are all one family. (as the classic old school rave tune says lol) There are good and bad people. I work with fellow human beings from all over this planet... We don't see colour, we see a colleagues and a friends.
