Hey, I loved the vid. I have one question though... Do you think cutting with a hot wire would be possible for this type of foam board?

No, the foam board is covered with a heavy paper. I use a hot wire to cut just styrofoam . This foam board is a very tough posterboard like material that is double layers of paper and the foam is in the middle.

Yeah, just peel the paper off the board on both sides (it’s really easy to peel.)cut the shape you want with a hot wire/ hot pen. Once your done, prep the foam for painting /ink drawing. Have fun!

This is an Illustration foam board. It has a layer of poster board coating on the front and back. This cannot be cut with a Hotwire, that’s why I use an X-Acto knife.
