It's not just about how long it can precisely last. It's the fact you completely don't have to worry about battery,
I too work 10 hr shifts and it's so nice not to worry about battery life throughout the entire shift.

One thing I notice is that the sound quality of GALAXY BUDS PLUS largely depends on choosing right size of ear tips. Many people who pick wrong ear tip size will complain the sound quality
This is absolutely true. The seal has to be perfect or it would feel and sound lousy.

Voldemortadella - These are the best earbuds I have used, wired or wireless, and I have used quite a few of them including Bose soundsport.
These just fit better, sound as good, call quality in noisy environments is way better than Bose or the Samsung level U Pro & Flex U and JBL.
Battery life is awesome! I am on calls all day and I still get left about 30% at the end of the day.

I love the galaxy buds live because they don’t hurt my ears, since you aren’t shoving buds INTO your ear. These stay just out your ear canal where it won’t cause discomfort due to air pressure, or hurting ears due to direct sound inside . LOVE THEM!
Excellent video and comparison! I already made my choice and ordered the Buds+ and received them today and so far I am very happy with them! Love the feature to be able to lower and raise volume by just tapping your ear. After watching this video I feel even more confident that I made the right choice. It came down to the fact that Iv'e always had in-ear type of earbuds and the idea of having sound leaking out and not being able to be fully immersed is not very appealing to me. I also had the original buds that I received for free and enjoyed them very much, biggest gripe was the awful call quality.
With the release of the beans the Buds+ dropped in price, so great bargain for me!
And people need to understand this that the galaxy Beans are not supposed to replace the buds+ they're just offering a different alternative for those who might prefer a more open type of earbud, I think it's great that Samsung came out with this alternative to the already excellent Buds+. I read many comments from people that bought the beans and returned them the same day because they didn't live up to their expectations in terms of sound, they found the buds+ to be much better in sound.
You said that they Galaxy buds+ doesn't come with multipairing feature, but I have found this in the wearable app. If you look in the "Advanced" tab (where you also find the option to turn on ambient sound durning calls) There's this other option "Seamless earbud connection" same as the beans have!

Bought the buds live to "replace" the buds plus and returned the buds live the same day. Sound quality was night and day, buds plus blow the beans out of the water. WAY more full soundscape, the buds plus have like three times the bass and depth. No contest. I was so sad.

Man, I really like your reviews! They have a great balance between real world usage and technical stuff. I liked when you did the audio test for the call and I think the voice sounds very "digitized" on both, but i think the Buds Live have a better sound for the voice. That's my opinion.

Love my Buds Live. Great sound stage, comfort, microphone and reliability in terms of connectivity etc. no issues with sound dropping off like the Jabras active elite 75ts I returned. ANC is not the best but works well.

The Samsung live beans sounded better! I just got these and love them. No ear tiring which Airpods always did and would hurt. I can work out with the Samsung live beans too no problem. We talked on a conference call with several people and they did great. Others said they could hear me very well. Nice review! Well done!

I got the buds live free when I bought my samsung s21 ultra. They sat unused in their box for ages as I already had apple airpods. I decided to try them and was amazed by how much better and louder they sounded than the apple ones. Been using the buds live ever since. My dog has chewed one of the buds and damaged it so Im looking for a replacement bud.

I was gonna return my Buds Live because of the volume issue. Even at max it was quiet. Then I found out that like the Buds Plus, you can turn up the volume of the earpiece itself and then go louder via whatever you're connected to by adjusting the long press option in the wearable app.
How do you turn up the volume on the ear piece?
I read reviews that they don't hold in sound. I didn't experience that problem. I tested a pair of Galaxy Buds Live few weeks ago and passed on buying them because the volume was extremely low compared to some jlabs I was using. Yesterday I noticed that the problem was with my phone not the earbuds. I connected a Bluetooth speaker to a different phone and noticed it was much louder than on my phone. So I had to download a volume booster app and it solved the low volume issue. I went and bought the Lives this morning and am thoroughly satisfied with everything about them. Only thing I don't like is how you can't mix the long touch controls. Using volume will automatically set volume to the other. I was trying to mix two different settings but they won't let you. But I have a workaround. The widget lets me turn noise cancellation on and I can use voice control for my assistant. I wanted to use long touch for assistant and volume down. So now I can keep volume on the buds use widget for noise cancellation and say ok Google for assistant. Not quite perfect but no major issue.
They are extremely comfortable. The jlabs start digging in you after awhile. The round contours on these won't allow them to dig into your cartilage like most other buds. On the back side of the jlabs I would have to lift them up so they're not resting directly on the ear after so long of wearing them. Not major pain but noticeable and something I could do without. And the buds start losing grip once you get sweaty and a little wax starts creeping down. Makes them easier to slip out. These beans DO NOT MOVE no matter how sweaty you get. They don't rely on anything sticking in your ear canal for support. They naturally fit and comfortably rest in the contours of anyone's ear.
As for the sound it is awesome. The jlabs would get inconsistent sound with songs with lots of sounds or heavy bass. These things sound amazing no matter what I throw at it. And the sound is much more crisp and clean than the jlabs. I wore them walking down the street and was not bothered by any sound leaking in. I was worried about this after reading several reviews so I guess my ears are the perfect fit for these things. Which is great because I've always had issues with keeping buds in my ears. These new in ear buds are much butter staying in place but as I said before getting sweaty can make them easier to slip out. But these beans otoh do not budge no matter how much you shake or how sweaty you get.
The jlabs also had terrible touch response. The touch response on these is perfect for all purposes of intent.

Yeah, I hate all these in-ear canal earphones. I prefer headphones so Buds Live is the closest thing to it because it does not go inside my ear canal.

Great vid! Personally dont want open ear design, so I. Gonna have to go with the buds plus, especially with their ambient mode. Though it is a shame they don't have a pressure relieve mode, as occasionally if I feel groggy I dont want to plug my ears up, and either open ear design or a pressure free mode on the buds plus would have been nice

You don’t need a transparency mode on the beans though because they’re constantly in a natural transparency mode since they don’t block much sound in the first place

i bought the buds plus about 3 weeks back and it's worth it. i can workout, sleep in them and basically do anything and they stay in my ear in the same position. and the battery life is pretty good. i'm a casual listener, and the buds lasts me a week. the only problem i face is the occasional disconnection. but other than that, really good.

You recognise airpods when you see them in someone's ear, same for the beans, you know it is a samsung product, unlike the regualr buds that look like every other pair of buds. i honestly really love the galaxy bud lives. i wead them to work out, during class, and i sleep in them sometimes too. their long charge is super helpful so i can go a ling school day and not have to worry abt them dying. I,ve never reall had much of a problem with the audio distortion from movement myself but they also seem to fit my ears almost perfectly. also idk what is different for me but rhe microphones on mine seems to be a lot better than it seemed in this video, but they could be me lol
I like my buds plus just fine. The touch pads work fine. I haven’t used for calls, but based on this video one is as good as the other.
I think its worth mentioning that fit is a huge factor in deciding between these 2 and its different for everyone. Ive had the buds since they came out and never been a big fan because they hurt my ears after a few hours of using them. I just got the beans and found they dont hurt my ears

With the microphone test, I think the one of the Beans sound crisper when it comes to the voice, but the one of the Plus is better at focusing on the voice and filtering out ambient noise.
The use both the exact same chip, so the Buds+ support the same codecs (including Scalable).
If there is no passive noise cancellation.. ANC won't do much 🤷🏻♂️
Huawei Freebuds 3 provide descent ANC in open design. But this just crap. Almost no ANC

After all the reviews I've watched, I'm pretty happy about Buds Plus and I'll think I'll stick with these.
I'm pretty happy with the sound quality and the ambient sound helps alot when I'm on the phone and I hear how loud my voice is, and with Samsung phones I can hear a little better base when I customize my phone profile.

I had to return my galaxy buds plus as it used to pain my left year after 30 mins I tried all enclosed tips now I preordered Note 20 ultra and galaxy buds live are $19 bucks so hope they are more comfortable. Comfort is number one priority for me

I have both of them. Ordered the Beans through a third party sellers on Amazon & they sent me the buds+ instead by accident. I then ordered the Beans directly through Amazon, and received a USED pair! Was so irritated!! Then finally Amazon re-sent a brand new pair of Beans. Haven’t tested the Buds+ yet, but have been testing the Beans and like them thus far. Will test the Buds+ soon to compare them. Appreciate your review! Awesome job. Cheers!

I love my buds plus. I don't plan on trying the beans until I need another pair, but there will likely be something much better by that time. Nice review anyway - thanks!
Got the Buds+ months ago and thought I'd regret it since I've been wanting ANC, but I think I'm still okay with the purchase. I really like the idea of an open-ear design of the Live as earwax is very annoying and I do find myself taking off my Buds+ after a while just to 'rest' my ears, but the Buds+ come off as having a better sound profile all-around.
I'm no expert, but the Live, on the other hand, would've been the same product even without the ANC. Would've gotten it if it were cheaper, as I can imagine using it for casual use. Oh well

I have both. I use the plus for work out and when I want to drown out noise around me. For everyday work environment it like nothing in your ear. Very easy to hear conversation around you and great for phone calls. For everyday wear while at work or in meetings and if you will use it to answer calls, get the live. For head shaking, and workouts get the plus.

I do personally like in-ear buds for the overall sound experience. BUT I have not much choice but to go with out-ear types as my ears tend to react badly when I use in-ear types for hours on end, everyday, which I tend to do. So, I am personally grateful to Samsung for putting the Beans on their line 😁

I feel uncomfortable when I can't hear my surroundings. I had the buds plus and when I turned ambient mode on it mad a humming sound that was very annoying. I am now considering the buds live

I just picked up the buds + the day after the keynote because I want an in-ear design for better bass and overall sound. Boy, am I glad I did. Definitely worth the $130 I paid on Amazon.

I love the GB+, they stay in my ears during workouts, I listen to Reggaetón, Reggae, Mediterranean, Rock and hip hop and it all sounds great also nobody complains during phone calls.
I also use AirPods Pro which are very good the only thing is that I have to use aftermarket wing tips so they could stay in.
Between the two for sound quality to me they are both excellent the one thing that shines in the AirPods is the transparency mode the negative is carrying wing tips.
Transparency mode in the GB+ is good if you listen to the music at low or medium level if you turn it up high you cannot hear anything else except for the music.
I think that audio call seemed to be better on Galaxy Buds Live
I’m looking for a replacement for AirPods for the husband who doesn’t want anything inside his ear canal. The AirPods sometimes fall out of his ears so I’m hoping he will have better luck with these. Since he uses them to watch CZcams videos and no music, I think the Live version is more suited to his needs. Thank you for this detailed, professional review.

I like the plus more only because I listen to edm and heavy bass music. They also fit my ear shape really nicely. Sound is super clear and rivals the bose soundsport which come in at about 250$.
The comfort is the biggest improvement from Buds Plus to Buds Live.
I've had the galaxy buds(x4), the galaxy buds + and now the buds Live.. I have also had the Jabra Active Elite 65T(x2).. So far I'd say I like the Buds Live aka the BEANS... As my usage was more for calls first, and music being a secondary usage category. Why did I like the BEANS more? Because they were the most comfortable out of the bunch. Just my 2 cents...
So which one?your recommended
