IR is arguably the most underrated, misunderstood, and sometimes underutilized power house of health care 😂
I was in radiology the other day in Australia having a NJ tube with a IR and a junior IR.. I spent about 20 mins talking about you and both the drs asked your dets and said how great it was someone was giving the profession a voice.

Hello Dr. Cellini, Im a doctor from India who just finished med school earlier this year and was planning to do my post grad training in UK, I was never inclined towards surgeries but i have been working in critical care (ICU) before i move to UK , and have enjoyed doing procedures like Emergency intubation, Central line, Arterial line (both US guided) and recently i saw a bedside US guided Glue repair of femoral artery pseudoaneursym by one of our IR doctors... i was amazed and it intrigued me before i found your channel which made me even more interested in this field.... now Im seriously considering doing IR as my preferred choice of specialty... Just wanted to say thank you for inspiring me and IR is such a underrated field which deserves more spotlight.

There are so many procedures that IR do, but they don’t get the fame, nor the glory, as per say spine, neuro or ortho specialty, and others.

Sean used his ear vs a stethoscope because it’s his wedding day that is held in the hospital & he is wearing a dress shirt. Don’t remember a stethoscope w/ his tux, but it’s tv so who knows.
I think the show wikia has the doctor as both a surgical resident and a surgical attending (not sure which title is correct).
I have a question: I am VERY allergic to all adhesives and metals - how would all this gluing and coiling affect someone like me.

I love the good doctor! I love Sean, and Dr Lim (who is now paralyzed sorry spoiler) Dr Lim reminds me of my pediatrician in a sense its nice.

Why do they depict ORs as being so dark and gloomy in these shows? Give these surgeons some lighting for Pete's sake!
Ironic that in real life the interventional radiology suite has a darkened atmosphere in contrast to the well lit operating room.
