Very nice video, it would be cool to show a video of whats needed to make the Monte a hopper. I have a monte but dont know what I need to make it hop crazy other then the super pumps from jevries
yessir, its in the works, Im in process of moving to a new city and tied up with my rc packed and bit hectic with a new job but should have a solid Monte build video set
What servos in the hopper? Definitely looking forward to the full breakdown. Was the rear frame, tank and trunk pan pretty easy? And what difference does it make other than having somewhere to put plates? How many plates do you use?
Hey, I just got a Monte Carlo, looking to make it a hopper, nothing to crazy, I have 4 powerhobby 209mg, I’m looking for a set of shocks, skunks is sold out and looks like they only carry the 69s, where could I go to get a set of thick coil chrome/polished shocks. Thanks for making the videos as you and jevries are the only ones!
What servos are you using front and rear. I just got my son one. And he wants it to hop. So looking for any advice. My other son had the sixty four and it hops Not looking for extreme just yet just a little hop for now
What's your opinion on the flash hobby m25bhw servos. The 209mg's are now sold out everywhere. The flash hobby specs are quick but no programming capability.
Have you had issues with the 209 servos? I followed your video on setting them up and mine still whine and have an issue when the car is powered off the servos allow the suspension to fall. So you can't put it in 3 wheel and turn the car off or it will just go back its lowered stance.
They have a hum with any kind of load. Most brushless motor servo wont hold position when powered off but the rear usually hold if the servo horn and shock are in line the front can use a stopper. The reds will hold because they a brushed motor servo can feel how hard it is to rotate them just spinning a horn with servo off the 209 are brushless and a much more efficient motor easier to spin
@@NorthSideCustomRC that makes sense now. Thank you for explaining that, bc I have been beating my head against a wall it feels like, questioning where I screwed up. Keep up the awesome work and looking forward to the monte videos. I have been waiting on them.
Sick builds bro. You got me back into this hobby and away from a life of drug use, I am forever grateful bro!

Can I build shocks for the Monte the same as you did for the 64 video just shorten them, right?
there is a bit more to it to make them fit, as I go over the mote builds Ill do video on exactly how it did this
Thank you very much.

Do you have a video on what steps to take to build a Monte Carlo hopper?
Did you have trouble unscrewing parts from the chassis? Some of the screws on mine are pretty much impossible to remove…
how did you extend the rear so much and do you have a link to the parts if they aren’t custom
What brushless motor and esc did you use in that all chrome monty?
I have question I have the monte Carlo and want to buy the show kit from kandy Chrumo would it fit it’s 199.99 thank u
You have a link for the front shock springs
Hey I just picked up a Monte Carlo the other day. What are the basics I need to get it hopping ?
Did you figure it out ?
Do you sale the rC cars or the upgrades for them?
