Was trying to charge my car for the first time with no green light on the charger. The battery was completely dead and I didn't realize until I watched your video about the boost button. As soon as I engaged it, started right up. Thank you!
Thank you Thank you Thank you!!! 😂😅🤣😂 I was so lost when I tried to use this for the first time a couple days ago lol. I wasn't pushing the " BOOST BUTTON" on the side. This video was extremely helpful!!!
thats probably what I need to do with my old rv when it sits without me cranking it every day or two .. I miss a day and gone and get the ever start jump starter ..
Bro thank you, I was gonna throw it out thought it was a knock off, then watched your video and boom, push the boost button, thanks man helped me out, shot brother!!!
Thank you. Your instruction is amazing clear. You said, the positive hook to positive terminal. I am not too sure what the ground is. I will read more over when I purchase one on this Saturday. I didn't know you can do it alone by yourself. Thank you, Julian. Mine, V 6 SUV. Good luck everyone !
Hello! The ground would be any basically any clean metal of the vehicle. Usually you can connect to a bolt that's screwed directly into the frame of the vehicle. I hope this helps and please feel free to respond with any further questions that I might be able to help with!
Nice job on the review. I just got the 4000 and the instructions arent the best. Like you, we like going offroading in Utah and sometimes you will go an entire day without seeing someone. This is a must have.

Hey, thanks for the video. I have one of these exact same models and my problem is when I charge it and it’s fully charged i will leave it in the car and it just slowly decreases in charge. I found that out the hard way when I got stranded and it wouldn’t charge my car battery …..it works great when charged but I’m just not sure what’s causing it to lose power when it’s just sitting in my car for an emergency use.
Good to have one of these jokers handy. Was skeptical, but it really works! No more jumper cables. My old 2003 Sequoia’s battery was dead (for the lack of use). Bought this off of Amazon. It started the big V8 SUV 🚙 on the first try.
I can't put a number on it but the power indicator lights are at 20% increments. I've jumped several vehicles,at least 7x, on one charge and never went below 60% of the jump pack.
True, the reason it doesn't matter with the jump starter (this model and most others) is that there is no power to the clamps until it is connected or when the battery is totally dead until it is already connected and you hit boost.
Basic chemistry > Acid on metal (lead battery plates) yields a hydrogen gas. Unless the battery is completely dead, the last connection you make to the battery CAN cause a spark. Spark + hydrogen gas = boom! The only problem is finding a good ground -- bare metal -- in the engine compartment to connect the negative (black) connector to, as there's so much plastic on and in cars nowadays.
So, is that mean we need to connect the negative (black) first and then the positive (red)? I don’t have any friends here to teach me, so I try to learn from CZcams😅
So I just just one of these (used from an estate sale) and it's missing the manual and the charging adapter. Can you tell me what kind I need? It currently has no charge so it may be a dud, but I'd love the test it out.
It’s about 10 seconds once you hit the boost button it’ll stay in for 10 seconds click off then click back on there’s a small relay in the cable part you plug into the pack so you’ll hear it click on and off
WTH! when I used my ever start jump starter the 40 dollar red one i NEVER plug it to the ground metal .. cause it doesn't work .. when I plug up the red FIRST then BLACK (even if thats not the order) it cranks after a few turns to my old RV I bought .. when I would attach the black to the metal it wouldnt do nothing .. now I haven't tried this device yet ... but I did just recieve it in the mail ..
I started after pressing the boost button however after it "started" to totally died . After trying again a few times I gave up. Anyone know why it goes totally dead after I start it up and the engine takes the boost and charge? I am afraid if I keep Doing this that I will Blow my engine or damage something...
If the battery too low in the jump pack it’ll drain all the power out if you press the power button it displays 5 lights telling you the charge level it can jump cars with 2 out of 5 lights showing make sure it’s fully charged plug it into the your homes plug in an hour it’ll be fully charged it’s the quickest way to charge it
If you're trying to get the ground from the battery then you would connect to the negative terminal. But I recommend you get your ground off of any unpainted metal on the vehicle such an an exposed bolt head.
... you can buy this model in the UK but I could only find one seller on eB who was asking £100!.. f'that... so I did some investigating and found that the 'Tacklife T6' is the same product... the only difference is, instead of plugging the jump leads into the end, the 'Tacklife T6' plugs into a socket on its side... apart from that, all the specs, leads, inputs and outputs are exactly the same except the T6 has a different body shell and costs half the price at around £50 on eB... hope this helps someone!... good video BTW ;0)
Good video. So the negative reviews for this product seem to say that they used it once or twice and then it never worked again. Just wondering what your experience has been now that you have owned it a few months. Also, there was one review that said it overheated on its own without even being plugged in. Wondering if you have heard anything about that also.
I haven't had a single issue with it. I e used it maybe 13 times now and I've jumped a couple vehicles on a single charge. Never had a heating issue and it still works several months later :)
@@seekfactsnotfiction9056 I'm not exactly sure. I'm also a Texan and it stays in my truck but under the storage below my rear seats. It's never been hot while in storage and I have a full leather interior so temperature can rise up.
I have had this model for 3 years, used it around 10 times and it's still working great! Amazing in a pinch and also really handy when someone else needs a helping hand. I have also used it to charge some devices during power outages.
Ive used mine for good 3 years now I’ve also used the flashlight in it many times and jumped plenty of my family members cars and it worked fine every time
I am not sure about this device. i just got one brand new from Amazon. They claim it can start a 5.7 liter V8. I disconnected my battery and hooked it on. All the accessories got powered but it could not start the car. Now, it may be that I did not hook it to a dead battery since it is technically supposed to boost a dead battery but I have seen it used in other videos to start cars with battery disconnected. So I am not sure how I am supposed to test but I am not confident that this could save me with 5.7 liter V8. I also notice that when you first charge, the last blue light keeps going and never becomes steady to indicate completion of charging.
Hello, I have a 5.3L V8 and have started it both with a low battery as well as a dead battery. My charging lights have all shown a steady glow when fully charged. Now if I am understanding correctly, you tried to start your vehicle using the jumper only and no battery? I'm not exactly sure how well that would work out but that's definitely not how you do it according to the instructions.
I appreciate the feedback! I did think about that recently when reviewing another jump starter. Please feel free to check it out. czcams.com/video/dmwpmL7EXyM/video.html

Hey brother thanks for the info. After you successfully jump started...would you happen to know how much of the portable battery it used up?
I can't put a number on it but the power indicator lights are at 20% increments. I've jumped several vehicles,at least 7x, on one charge and never went below 60% of the jump pack.
These are great. Get one and show the drivers in the house how to use it.
Thank you.
Because you can cause sparks by grounding it to negative terminal and if the battery is leaking gas or engine then it can in theory ignite
Thanks! I really appreciate you dropping some knowledge on me! Now I know 😁😁

You need the voltage / amperage specs?
15v 1000ma. The challenge could be finding the correct diameter plug end on the charger.
How long does the gooloo stay on? How long do you have to get inside and turn the key before the gooloo shuts off?
It’s about 10 seconds once you hit the boost button it’ll stay in for 10 seconds click off then click back on there’s a small relay in the cable part you plug into the pack so you’ll hear it click on and off
Do you need to turn off the jump starter before taking the red and black parts off the battery?
I'm not sure if it's a NEED but I never have.
I have the same and it was amazing. Bit now will not charge, I Also got mine from Amazon, for the same price about 70.00

That's a great question. I'm going on a year with mine and have charged it maybe 4 times total but it still works fine.
Where is the ground located on the battery? Thanks.
If you're trying to get the ground from the battery then you would connect to the negative terminal. But I recommend you get your ground off of any unpainted metal on the vehicle such an an exposed bolt head.
