I just bought a similar WSDCAM alarm, and as someone noted, the manual is fairly crappy. For instance, during the very first charging of the alarm, there is nothing to tell you that the unit is either charging or is fully charged. Later on in the manual (section 4.7.1) it mentions the red indicator light going on and off, but I'm certainly not seeing that on the first charge. And yes, I checked the battery voltage on the remote, and it's good.
I had a couple of Doberman Security "Bag protectors" ( the big egg shaped white orange ones.. the older model) .. That one had a cool look, it was 2 times smaller. Used 22032 batteries, which lasted for months, sometimes even half a year. I used it to park my bike in an open building and in front party entrances.. They kicked it, they pulled it off the bike, the broke the connector, they crushed it with feet... it was undamaged and it still worked! .. Plus it had multiple warning sounds... The alarm wouldnt just activate after just one warning sound.. Which is good if you accidentally touch it your self to unlock it ( it had numeric keys on it to unlock).. or when somebody is moving their own bike next to mine.. so the alarm doesnt go off immediately.. there is no need for that.
I got mine today for 13, different branding tho same makers, this is to go with my gold standard lock, need a gold standard lock for insurance purposes
@@brunethegoat8650not that I’m aware of. It’s funny I have a new headlight, taillight, and this alarm so it took me taking the alarm off the bike to realize it was making all the noise. Even if I hold it and shake it it’ll beep it’s annoying I’m glad I got rid of it
Is there a way to choose one of the alarm sounds instead of just letting the alarm go through all of them when activated ? Because its too annoying. And how do I do that ? And how do I set the sensitivity and volume ? .. Because I bought this one (but together with the mounting set.. because just mounting it with zip ties is idiotic and defeats the purpose). Mine just got with some leaflet in Dutch with visual instructions how to mount the mounting bracket on the alarm it self. but zero instructions, zero papers. I dont know how long will the battery last on the alarm or on the key! And how to open the key to change batteries ? This is a nice alarm but it would be nicer if they were all sold with the metal bracket and not just zip ties. It was difficult to find it online. It should also be made out of metal or some hard plastic.. Not just some flimsy plastic that can be knocked off with a hammer or a leg.. or with a hand! Having a BT connection to check the battery level should be an essential option to have too. Because I already have a chain lock with motion detection and BT connection that unlocks it remotely with my phone and shows me battery level.
Hi I drilled a piece of the alarm out ovs I made sure it was safe but after that I took my water bottle cage screw and screw the alarm on to the bike it's alot better that way I hope you found a way to put it on the way you like it
The instruction manual is basically useless. Like auto translated from Chinese. Does anyone know if one fob arms both alarms? I have two, one on each bike parked next to each other.
So the "lightning" button doesnt change the actual alarm sound (which is actually a series of different interchanging annoying sounds) .. But instead it just changes the warning sound.... Come on... I expected better. The alarm sounds are so annoying it might make a thief angry enough to kick the bike.
Sure hope the dog was elsewhere, you didn't appear to move him. Secondly you bought a Tesla, that becomes a judgement concern. But it's only $16.00 so not a gamble.

Not for be, if I have three locks, and the Alarm. It's a High deterrent for a theif as they'll have to either dispose of the Alarm, any manner which would take a While, then cut through two or three locks, But I leave mine next to my car at night As I sleep in it If I hear alarm I'm going out Shooting No questions asked
I have one on the front door and back door of my house and I have one on my ebike. Love them. ❤

These things work great when armed but when unarmed just riding around thing constantly beeping annoying
