- GardenFork.TV Here's a healthy dog biscuit recipe. Dog treats like these are healthy. Our Labrador Retriever dogs love the homemade dog treat, and they make great holiday christmas gifts as well.
The Gardenfork Peanut Butter Dog Biscuit Recipe
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 to 1 1/2 cups beef broth or equivalent measure of beef bullion
1 cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon baking powder
Preheat the oven to 350.
Mix the Flour and Baking Powder.
Add beef broth and peanut butter.
Mix the ingredients together. You want a fairly dry batter-dough, because you will be rolling this out on a board. Adjust the mixture, adding more flour or more stock to achieve a dry yet pliable dough.
Flour a board and use a rolling pin to flatten the dough. you want it to be about 1/4″ thick. You can use a wine bottle or other long bottle if you don't have a rolling pin.
Cut out the biscuits using a cookie cutter or a glass or even a clean dog food can that has had the ends removed.
Place the biscuits on a greased cookie sheet and back for about 20 min. If you want the biscuits to be harder-drier , bake them longer.
Taste test with your friends. Keep in a sealed container. If refrigerated, they will last longer.

my labradors don't have an issue with peanut butter, but with all sorts of people having allergies, i do know that some dogs have allergies to certain foods. certainly worth testing first with your pups. thanks for watching, eric.

smaller biscuits are ok, they will bake faster though, so keep an eye on them. eric.
Thank you! These are better than store bought dog treats... Ginger won't even touch those. But these home-made treats are amazing, she's jumping around because they're so delicious :) From now on I'll just make these instead of buying them. (my picture is a cat because I also have a cat, don't worry I'm not feeding a cat dog treats)
thats the beeest recipe i've seen ever! ur so right! i dunno why people just try to make it all complicated with ingredients god knows where they get and flavours i havent even tried...you just have to make sure the ingredients ur using arent goin to kill the dog, mix it all together, throw it at them and the'll eat it!

I stopped making round biscuits years ago. Form biscuit blob as square as you can get them and then just slice through with knife into smaller squares. No waste, biscuits don't get tough from re-rolling (not that I think the dogs would mind too much, mine didn't)

lol i am a kid im looking for a good resupy and you said this would be good for kids i'll try it. i think i mite make em' smaller you see im training my nabers dog for 4-H and its a palmaranion so there little. when i said there i mean the other dgo they have
dogs do eat just about anything!!! mine ate a whole raw potato
