I am in Tampa. I usually go outside with a flashlight at night as well and look at my plants and my neighbors probably think I am strange. I have very little incidence with pests because my plants are home to hundreds of brown anoles. At night time, they are all sleeping in the leaves and crotches of the plants, especially in my blueberries. By about July/August, the anoles start to hatch and the plants become their nursery. I have physically witnessed them eating aphids/ants from my grapes. Most of my plants are in my front yard in the open well away from trees or other shelter so this becomes an oasis for these lizards. When I have noticed a small outbreak of pests, I will come back later in the day and they will be gone. By the time fall and winter sets in, the lizards have done their job up until most of the bugs go away for the winter. I start growing vegetables in Sept. I don't expect to need any pesticide until March, which is about the time I am wrapping things up for the summer.
    Thank you for the videos.

Sandy Soil, live in same area, but in Seminole and Beaches, wish I could grow grapes and berries, does it require irrigation? Did you need to fix soil? We should have plant exchanges, I want to get more fruit trees, and varieties, especially ones liked in other countries. Like a central trading or selling, agreement for cuttings, air layering, and trading. Wish knew of such a thing. Didn’t see your video, like to see fruit and gardens from area. My trees are mostly small and unproductive, neighbors live oak shades 1/3 back yard, wish I could kill it somehow, nuisance and don’t know of stuff that grows on shade down here. Never saw good grapes or blueberries, even in botanical gardens. Mine end up dying! Must have green thumb, cool. Tree looks like prehistoric fern in video, can’t eat it, but cool.

+Santi bellas gonzalez It's almost 10 years old. It was a tiny thing in a six inch pot when I bought it. Sure, I"ll make a video about it. :)
