Fishing is so broken on PS5
So I've been hearing! I'm so used to experiencing bad ports to PC that I'm not used to seeing bad ports to console.
Definitely lucky to have grabbed it on PC, it seems.

I've had a few problems with fishing on ps5 as well.
Unfortunately I can't offer any miracle solutions other than to wait.
I guess the game doesn't recognise when you press the square key. I had the same problem, I decided to restart the game another day and miraculously everything worked perfectly.
I hope it works for you too, but unfortunately it's the only solution I've found...
You can go to setting and turn on easy fisching
hey, I am playing on ps5 and it seems to glitch much less if you do not turn sable side to side to angle before casting... just hit the right arrow button to fish and then press square without any other movement in between 👍🏻
Absolutely frustrating, a really bad experience... The worst activity in this game by far
Idk if it was just me or maybe because its been a few months since these comments were posted, but i had a really easy time getting all the fish. I got every fish within an hour, got the mask and filled the vivarium. This guide really helped too, super simple and easy to follow. Thank you!!

This is useful AND satisfying lol. I like seeing all of the fish at once even after knowing how dang long it takes to find these things!
I swear It took me a good 30-40 minutes to find that Ghost Soul one! and I think I had a lapse in sanity finding the pill guy.

So annoying i cant get anything other than doper darts and bellow guppy in Sansee. The cactus area for Pill Fishes and shade for Pebble Eyes dont work at all for me, playing on PS5
the Pill fish took me probably an hour or so of fishing! It was ridiculous! I absolutely understand the frustration! It definitely puts patience and sanity to the rest.
@@Amber_The_AwkwardI just caught the pill fish after I got Casii’s fishing rod and tried 10 more times through different cacti. Think the new rod helped

Keep on trying, it worked for me just 30 minutes ago at the described place.
It sometimes takes what feels like forever for it to show up. If you're meaning the game physically doesn't let you cast at that location, it doesn't have to be exactly that spot. So maybe try a nearby similar place there?
Sometimes console can be a bit buggy ,too. So if you're playing on console maybe reloading the game could do something. I'm not sure on that though.

can't find the light koi for the life of me, this unfortunately hasn't helped
Some of them take many tries before they appear. Sorta seems rng. I got so sick of the more common fish in the areas waiting for the better ones to bite, lol. I understand the pain! Good luck out there!

Not all the fish in the locations you show. Not your fault but this trophy is rng based.
They should be found generally at those locations at least. Regions matter, but shouldn't have to be pinpoint on my locations lol. Some of them take ages to finally get though for sure
I'm convinced pebble eyes don't exist
