Thanks for sharing. Dad and Grandpa said it brought back a lot of memories of their old 4000 that they used as a utility tractor . They also had a 3 bottom Massey Plow on it that we still have for the garden. It looks like it's turning over nicely. Hope to see more of the old Ford in future videos. Thanks!
Great video Eric! Brought back a lot of memories! We never had a Ford 4000, but we did have the Ford 6000, heck of a tractor, loved the solecto speed on it shift gears on the move! 8 forward speed for field work, 2 highway speeds and 2 reverses! Thanks for sharing! Have a great and awesome day!
That's a different way of doing a headland than we do. We double turn the 1st furrow in order to turn all the ground. ai know there's more than one way to skin a cat. Nice video.
Dad had a 1966 4000 split grille with a 3 bottom Ford 101 plow. Yours is a newer model with the one piece grille. Good old tractors! Looks like it's doing a nice job plowing.
The front axle looks lighter like it belongs on the smaller Ford 3000 and 2000 and it has no tombstone over the front axle again like the smaller Fords.. It's like a 3000 with a 4000 engine.. American spec maybe... But nothing like the 4000s across the pond here in Europe.. 🤔

In the long run, the engine of a 4000 in a3000 size is hard on transmission and extra weight needed to pull . Good pto power .
