I wish people who consume most of their information of the world through any kind of media is that just because you agree with what is being said doesn't mean it's true. It blows my mind on how so many people can't see past their own bias. In this day and age misinformation is so common now and I suspect it's just going to get much worse before it gets any better.
When in Calgary (the only American city OUTSIDE the USA) some co-workers and contractors (good ol boys, underground economy types, don't pay taxes, Sov. citizen fans, told me that Trump was GOING TO WIN I choked. They were right, but for all the wrong reasons.

I've loooooooooved Luminosity since the first time I've seen it. I've watched the promotional video at least 20x. It's not as sleek on the water as other mega yachts, do to the large windows but there you go .... those floor the ceiling windows are insane !!! When I first started looking at her the price tag was $330m.
This is so much more than a yacht channel.❤

I must comend you on your research and brief analysis of the Tucker Carlson interview. Melnichenko is an impressive guy. Not hard to see why he is a successful Businessman.
Your research on ammonium nitrate was very informative, and something I didn't think about. Melnichenko was correct about Exports of fertilizer, however, had Tucker done the minimal research you did, he could have countered with that.

Tucker Carlson is currently in Australia conducting a tour backed by Clive Palmer (owner of the multi-grounding superyacht Australia). Apparently ticket sales have been appalling despite prices being dropped by up to 75%.
Tickets? like a concert? to listen to him on a stage? Makes sense in a way that he had to go to Australia to find someone to fall for that. I used to like him a lot, but then, IDK, he gets boring rather quickly, same shit over and over.

Hey! Right up my old road of expertise having spent 15 years in wholesale fertilizer brokering. It is absolute, Russia provides, or has, I've been out many years, a shit ton of fertilizer. Great money maker because it's cheaper than anything from America or Canada, another major producer. As you could imagine, Rus doesn't have a miners union like we do in the US and the wage gap makes it's highly economical. The quality was always substandard, garbage grade actually, but it specs proper. And it has had an impact on farming right to the grocery store not having competition in the market and a cheaper option. It was always more expensive to deal with, I won't bore you, but even with that, still cheaper. And of course it's used in munitions, always has been. To make munitions grade material, there's a lot of post processing. If he's doing that? He's not really a mining company is he? no, he'd be a munitions manufacturer
So he's a self made billionaire? Russian billionaire? That is only possible by the grace of the Kremlin~ he's an oligarch.
Problem with sanctions and chemicals is there is still a lot of misinformation. The article talks about supply of acetic acid to "Crystal". Order was worth around £8,000 and eSysman may recognise the taste of it from our fake vinegar or "non-brewed condiment" traditional on UK chips. Nitric acid also has many other uses, as does ammonium nitrate. Which is why I think it's a little unfair that some owners are being subject to collective punishment and asset seizures totally disproportionate to any potential crimes. Especially as the chemicals mentioned haven't been on controlled items lists prior to the conflict. Well, other than being hazchems with bulk ammonium nitrate having been responsible for several loud bangs in the past.

In all cases, proceeds from yachts sold due to the Ukrainian war, should be forwarded to the Ukrainian people.

I've done some math relating to the first yacht, owned by Russian billionaire Guryev. One ruble is now worth .011 American dollars. Yes, slightly more than one cent. Say Guryev has 2 billion rubles. On the international market they are worth $20,000,000 - twenty million dollars. No wonder he can't keep up a $270,000,000 yacht. Somebody check my math because I find it hard to believe.
