Despite the record heatwave we had attendances of 98,000, so thanks to everyone who braved the heat and celebrated WOMADelaide 2024 with us and the 72 acts from 40+ countries.
WOMADelaide will be able to continue to bring the world to Adelaide following the recent announcement of the extension of the festival’s longstanding partnership with the State Government through Events South Australia to 2029.
Join us in Botanic Park / Tainmuntilla next year, 7 - 10 March 2025.

Really enjoyed WOMAD this year. Shame the hot weather defeated me on the first day as I missed so much brilliant music. Still, it will always remain the premier event of the year for me until I can no longer walk….. but then I might just have to hire a gopher! Thanks for the improvements. I liked the market bazaar area once i found it. it was a long way from the most popular areas and in that heat the trek to stage 7 was arduous. Thank you to all the crew and volunteers who continue to be the backbone of this amazing event. I hope you all got a special thank you gift for working in those awful temperatures! My favourite bands this year were Moonlight Benjamin and Dubiosa Kolektiv. Can’t wait to see what WOMAD brings next year!

I travel from Qld every year for WOMAD. IMO it is the best festival in Australia. Thank you. Please return the old lay out though. The stall holders at the WOMarket deserve better than a thoroughfare. Please consider returning to the layout that has worked so well as a welcoming sprawl of green space, setting the scene for a wonderful 4 days.
My favo thing in ADL is WOMAD. ♡
