The way i do it is i match the exact title in my listing to my title in the spread sheet that a way if i have 15 polos so i dont get confused.

Hello, just found you! I gave a quick question..can you share how your inventory boxes work? What do you go by when you choose the letter if the alphabet? Thanks 😊
Totally random! I just stick anything where it fits and take note of what box it’s in in my spreadsheet! It’s like the method that Amazon uses called random stow, where essentially everything is completely random places, with no similar items next to each other. When you are then pulling a specific sold item from a box there’s a less likely chance that you grab the wrong item.

As a part time seller of clothes (mainly), I have 50 boxes set up that fit two to a shelf (and they are standard plastic shelves I got at Lowes or Walmart) that have 5 tiers. I label each box 1-50. Each year I start my SKU with the year then the beginning number so 23-0001 is how I started this year. Then I use a slash and the box that item went into. I should say I bag all my items in a clear bag and attach a small label to the bag as I list it. So 23-0001/5 would be my item number and bin or box #5 is the location of where I put it. I have a bedroom for storage so I had to have a system that as a certain box got room in it, I could put the new item in it without having to re-shift items. It's worked flawlessly and I've never lost an item or shipped the wrong item. The next year my SKU is similar but I only use one digit to start and go forward. It just makes it look differently so I don't get confused. For example, I'll start 2024 with 24-1/8. Hope that made sense and hoped that helped give you an idea to think about. Stay safe ...

Hi! Do they boxes hold much inventory? They look small.
Between 10-15 items! Maybe less if there’s a bulky sweater haha. I find this to be the perfect amount so that there’s enough items in each box, but everything is still easily visible and I don’t have to sift through the box to find something!
Where did you get those boxes?
