It’s kind of fitting that people who were young kids when the first movie came out are now either the same age or around Riley’s age in the film.
the sarcasm joke was sooo brilliant.
Envy looks so cute. Cool they got Ayo Edebiri to voice her. I love the way they introduce Embarrassment. I can’t wait to hear Paul Walter Hauser voicing that role. Here’s a fun fact, Adéle Exarchopoulos who voices new emotion Ennui, also voiced Ember in the French dub version of Elemental.

I laughed right along with you guys during this trailer. For anyone who's seen the first Inside Out, they'll get the sarcastic humor. On the other hand somebody coming in fresh who doesn't quite know what to expect with these two films, are going to be somewhat lost in my opinion. It takes a lot of mental stamina to understand each character and how they each play a role in Riley's development. That said, I'm looking forward to the new emotions now that Riley is entering her teen years and how Joy and the others try to help her.

The cool thing about the new emotions is that Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner Ayo Edebiri from the hit TV Series The Bear and Bottom is voicing Envy....Wendy and Dustin do you think that the new emotional could be the new antagonist characters in the movie?

9 long years later, with 9 emotions
Very nice points and opinions, i honestly do kind of wonder how Riley’s Colleague Years and/or Adulthood Years would go, mostly based on what we’ve seen of the Emotions track record so far in regards to happened in the First Movie and what seems to be happening in this Movie, just what other messes could they get themselves and Riley into and duo to what?
Regardless of that though, I’ll say this Trailer gave us a pretty good idea of what we could expect from this Movie,
So, they decided to go with the “New Emotions trying to take over for all of the Old Emotions” Route, sort of? I am pretty certain that there were some people who had theorized about that being the case, at some point.
Anyway, I am also pretty certain that this Plot could be viewed as being pretty similar to the Plot of the First Movie, at least on a surface level, but I’d say the finer details beneath have enough differences to make it work,
Like for example:
Rather than just having two Emotions having to go on an adventure through out Riley’s mind, we now have all Five of the Original Emotions having to go on a journey, two of which who have experience in going through the Place, while the other Three probably doesn’t, a fact that could potentially lead into some pretty interesting and funny experiences on it’s own.
Also, the reason why the Emotions even ended up in the situation that they were in in the First Movie was entirely due to a freak accident, while here it’s due too the New more inexperienced Emotions trying take over by pretty much overthrowing the Old Emotions, bottling them up somewhere.
On top of that, in the First Movie we just had the original core Emotions getting split up, with two out in the World and three remaining at the Center, now we have entirely New Emotions trying to run the Center by themselves, where we could see how well that goes and whether or not they realize that they’ve made a great mistake,
Although, I say the New Emotions and they, but wouldn’t it be funny if Ennui was the only one out of New Emotions who figured(/knew) that kicking out the Old more experienced Emotions might be a bad idea, but didn’t say anything due to how unmotivated they seem to be?
Heck, even the motivations and the reasoning behind said motivations I’d say is a bit different from the First Movie too,
In the First Film, the Emotions at Brain-Center pretty much just tried to run things by themselves because they didn’t know what else to do and the Emotions outside just wanted to go back because they just naturally knew they needed to,
While in this Film on the other hand, the Emotions at the Brain-Center tries to run things by themselves because they think they know how to handle a Teenage Riley better and the Emotions outside wants to go back pretty much for same reasons as in the First, but with an added bonus,
‘Cause I think the New Emotions might not know everything that happened before their arrival, so they wouldn’t know that something similar to what they’ve done has happened before,
But the Old Emotions knows, they have experienced just how bad things can go when Riley doesn’t have all of her Emotions present and working together, so they will not try to get back just because they feel like they have to, but also because they know what could happen if they don’t.
So, all in all, while the Plot is pretty simple, I’ve heard that even a pretty Simple Plot, that might even redo something similar to it’s predecessor, can still turn out quite good, as long as it’s been done well enough, I hope this Movie still does good despite it all.
Now, the only Question left is, how will everything be lined up in this Movie? When will every moment happen and in what order will it happen? What do you think?

What is onwe if that’s even how it’s spelled?
Ennui, it basically means bored, but in this day and age, it could easily be translated as disinterest. Like when teenagers stop wanting to do things their parents suggest because it doesn't seem "cool" or "popular" anymore. The "Whatever" phase.
Also school is a lot more boring and less important for many teens. They might have a huge fixation on how they look and what friends they have and they don’t have.
