Video's colour grading is beautiful, your composition is always great, and the music choice just pulls it all together. Great video and really refreshing watching you guys just go out and shoot and enjoy film without being super technical about it. Makes me want to get back out with all of my film!
I recently bought an olympus mju II in the hope that it would basically be this but cheaper, and the fully automatic system drove me mad. I got rid of it and have been meaning to get one of these ever since, this review only makes it more tempting!
I got rid of a Yashica T4 for exactly the same reason. I think i'm parting way with my contax though, really expensive for the amount of use I get out of it, i think i'd rather be able to control everything now
T2 has a better lens (although the T5 lens is very good), aperture priority and exposure comp. So the T2 is the better camera, but also considerably more expensive.

NReluctant nothing to do with the settings and everything to do with the film you use. You could get the same colors on any film camera if you load the same film.

Hi! Do you know how I could make double exposed pictures? It's a automatic camera so I don't know if this is possible. It has a manual rewind button but I don't know how to use it. Have you tried it?

just bought a t2 and I am having problems shooting in low light. the flash doesn't fire under 1/30 of a second and I doesn't move to the next exposure, double exposing until I take a picture over 1/30 of a second. Is this a common thing?
All my colour film I take into a lab to be processed and scanned, however for black and white I home dev and scan using a epson v600, I'm only ever happy with the scan quality of 120 though, I can't get 35mm to look sharp enough at home.
My criticism exactly. Flatbeds create such a soft image with no real sharp point. Okay, that's what I've been doing as well. Go figures your scans look like that as a result :P Unfortunate you can't replicate that at home.
Hey is it hard to autofocus or just focus in general in low light situations? I heard its hard to get an object in focus and get the green light in dim lighting.
Feels much nicer, and is a bit bigger. Main bonus is that you can change the aperture and have the exposure comp. I did love shooting with a T4 though, but not having as much control made it worthwhile to upgrade to the T2

It has a beautiful Karl Zeiss lens on it and it's crazy sharp, an amazing piece of lens indeed. There is no reason for it to be so expensive (at the end of the day this is just another P&S FILM camera), it is just what it is :)

I use and enjoy this camera but i think a weakness you missed is that it has significant shutter lag. That one flaw is a real hassle some times

Whenever you scan film, there is some digital processing involved. George talks about this in another vid (making of the California zine maybe ?)

Damien Karan Lots of people do. The T3 is the basic evolution of the T2. It's better in about every regard other than the ergonomics..

I've never had a problem with the AF, I do normally stick on the flash if it's dark though

Mine doesn't really, but I have a friend who's missed focus every frame for a whole roll, so think I must have a good one
