The Evolution of Vaporwave

A detailed look into the first releases of vaporwave, and the change in the genre over the past decade.

I believe referring to Floral Shoppe as the first "Notable and Influential" release is incorrect. While it may have been the earliest vaporwave track with significant mainstream appeal, and was also notable and influencial, it was not the first with the latter two qualities.
I believe, and I suspect many others would agree, that the earliest "notable and influencial" release was the works of Daniel Lopitan with Ecco Jams, released under the pseudonym Chuck Person. This was released over a year prior to Floral Shoppe.
