- Here we show that A+A^T and AA^T are symmetric matrices, and A-A^T is skew symmetric for A is a square matrix. Presented by N J Wildberger of the School of Mathematics and Statistics, Faculty of Science, UNSW.
This may be a very old video, but I want to thank you for making it. My own math professor seems to have difficulties in actually teaching, so this explanation really helped.
90% of videos/MOOCs out there, when they discuss this, just start writing down without connecting the dots. My own LA prof did this, too. Dr. Wildberger actually talks things through and makes connections for the viewer. I don't know why this is so hard to do. It makes a huge difference to understanding.
Thank you so much
thank you
Very informative and easy to understand
Thank u sir
Exactly still this vedios rocks!❤️
Thank you sir
thank you for the great tutorial video, but I was also really interested in part (d) of the question, I have some rough ideas but I'm unsure if they are right, any guidance would be great :D
p.s. just in case you don't have any part (d) here it is: (d) Can you show how to write any square matrix as the sum of a symmetric and a skew symmetric matrix?
