I've been working as a barista for few years and I can tell you, from a person who doesn't drink dairy milk, that almond milk is horrible, awful to steam and it never foams. I've tried few and none of them tasted nice, but it can be just my taste?!
Oatly is nice and creamy (and fat, since it has oil), and loads of people drink it instead of the full fat because they find the texture good and comparable to caw's milk.
I think the other options are good too, like coconut and soya (Alpro does an organic non gm), but almond is a nightmare to make it hot and that's why baristas can not always make it good, it's not our fault (I know you weren't blaming them of course) x
That's interesting! Anna Saccone uses almond milk that makes really nice foam.
Giulianeda Truth! Back when I was a barista, I’d cringe everytime someone opted to try almond milk for a hot espresso drink. I never wanted to discourage them but like you mentioned, it doesn’t foam/froth well and there’s a 50/50 chance the customer would hate it. 😭
I don't know which brand Anna Saccone used on her channel but ou could see it made amazing foam and it was almond milk. BUT I don't like the taste of almond milk with coffee - I love it in cereal though.
I usually tell to my customers, unless I don't like them, that is better if I make just a latte so they won't get bubbles, and they usually ask for another dairy free milk if they really want the foam. When they still go on with the almond then bye, I'll give them their half kilo's latte and I call it cappuccino =D
I didn't see which almond milk Anna Saccone drinks but might be a fatty one I probably never got to use

Went through that dog issue so many times. Tried so many things. Ended up trying a dog detox type thing helped, exercise and a new food brand(went through a good many). Food brands are not all good.

ahahaha we got such a water kettle for ages already - there are quite a few on the market we got one for 40 Euros and once one for 25 (as I guess they are around 8 years already on the market:)) but they are dope - I love brewing water for tea - especially when it's night and no light on in the kitchen and you got the special light effect!!!!
