I love how they captured the foreboding feeling of Book 3 but aimed it towards science fiction

It’s like a sad and bittersweet ending. Bigger Brother and his Machine are defeated but the Magic Pen is broken and eventually sacrificed itself to restore the Great Library. This also implies that Codex is no more as he is trapped in the Magic Pen back in the first game.
