I think you're thoughts in this are really valuable and it's really hard to find people talk about how people can turn into good ux leaders, what things to focus on! This is brilliant

Awesome energy right from the start. I can relate to all the points for the "tea and cake" discourses.

If you just doing your “design” work good you gonna become a leader anyway. It’s inevitable. This will be the point you will show yourself as a asshole or a teammate you’ve been before. At this point your goal is to push up others who will replace you. It’s like a lava lamp... you going up by the heat, and down by cold. It doesn’t matter what your company is... stay human.

I think the delineations help w/ non-designers too, like for C-suite executives determining budgets and justifying to keep creative departments

Can I still join the group? I have become a creative director and yes, sort of stressed

I relate with Andy's comment saying that Design Leadership is still relatively new. I have asked 30 Design Leaders about the qualities that are needed - and this what they said: czcams.com/video/MjSOjwixR4k/video.html what else would you add?

How can it be - such an interesting and important topic with such hard English? Seems like Andy was kidding from all the non-British English speakers all along the presentation.
