- Amber and Rick wish little Eric was with them and not trapped with Deacon. Rick and Kimberly make peace with each other. Brooke is amazed that Stephanie has not come to stop the wedding. Stephanie makes it very clear to Brooke that her acceptance of this marriage has to do with the next generation of Forresters and not Brooke. The ceremony begins and the guests are shocked to see Stephanie walking Brooke down the aisle.

Brooke has always made it about herself and wanted more than life itself to be on par with Steph as part of the Forrester family, as if she didn't have her own.
Her parents should be insulted. She was sitting there whining about Stephanie when _they_ came all this way to see her! And remember when she was supposed to marry Ridge the first time (when Caroline was married to Thorne) and she agreed not to have _her own mother at her wedding_ to appease Stephanie? 😆

@@TriniT21 It's like you said in another thread. Her siblings and parent have no personalities or inner lives of their own (other than Storm). Her sisters just exist to be her baby sitters even though they're middle aged women and Brooke could easily launch careers for them if they wanted. I'm surprised she doesn't hire Beth as her caterer.
A few months later Stephanie will tell Thorne she regrets walking Brooke down the aisle. 😆

No matter how much Stephanie didn’t like or how much she went through with Brooke she was always there for her children
What a romantic wedding dress... It's the one Thorne bought for Brooke in Venice right before she ended up on the bed with his brother. The one Brooke put on so she could have a secret intimate "wedding dance" with Thorne while he was married to Macy. The one Thorne was trying (unsuccessfully) to hide from Macy so she wouldn't find out the truth about what happened in Venice. Every seam of that dress has deception, betrayaI and heartbreak sewn into it.
It's Definitely A Dress With A History! 😂

Big disappointment. The way the show is treating and will treat Stephanie is revolting.
Brooke doesn't deserve it she Stephanie knows.
But at least it shows how she is always there for her children (once they take their decision and after questioning their decisions without success). She will always wear the I TOL YOU SO t-shirt btw
I’m trying to decide what annoys me more -Stephanie being forced to seemingly co-sign this charade; Kimberly miraculously being turned into a pod person who just wants the best for everyone no matter what it means for her (or the dead sister she so loved); or the swelling, romantic music in the background trying to manipulate us into finding this tackiness heartwarming. Oh, wait, it’s none of those; it’s that Quisling Eric having the balls to tell his ex-girlfriend that he’s “disappointed” in his wife. F*ck you, Eric. I enjoyed the 5 minutes you showed your wife some loyalty like a decent human being.
On the plus side, we had some fun as well. My highlights: Stephanie rolling her eyes behind Brooke’s back when she hugged her; (SF, be honest, you did that for the fans), and Ridge literally stopping to preen and get everyone’s attention (I heard actual gasps) when he strode into the room in his tux. Thorne has spent his entire life trying to get out of Ridge’s shadow, and he invites him to his big day, only for Ridge to steal the limelight from him 😂. But I think my favorite part was this:
Thorne, excitedly: “She came for us in the end!” (Referring to Stephanie)
Me, smirking: “Buddy, she literally told your soon to be wife 5 minutes ago that she *didn’t* show up for you, she did it for Rick and Bridget. Upstaged by one of your siblings yet again!”
I made the same comment that Ridge managed to upstage Thorne at his own wedding 😂😂
And "tacky" is def the word I would use to describe this entire affair.
SO with you on all of this! The writing in these last few episodes has been terrible. If they really wanted Stephanie to do it for the kids, she could've just attended the wedding. Walking Brooke down the aisle was unnecessary and completely out of character. Nothing in these last few episodes have felt earned or plausible - including Brooke's reaction to Morgan in episode 3469!

Looking at Ric with the twins reminds me how later on he ends ups sleeping with both of them as soon as they find out he’s not their uncle just like their dad ends up going after Rics sister. This show really has no boundaries smh
Rick will get romantically involved with both twins, but I think Phoebe still died as a virgin. When Phoebe had been ready to sleep with Rick, he had moved on and was involved with her mother, Taylor.
Rick never slept with Phoebe bro. He put pressure on her, but she never gave in. He ended bedding Ashley. That's why Phoebe dumped him

I think she looks amazing. KKL is nearly 40 in these episodes and Brooke’s character approx 35. I wish I look half as good at 40 as KKL did.

Stephanie, however, had always embodied perfection, ideal and awe in Brooke's mind.
Brooke's life was all about getting Stephanie's recognition and love (which she got, 25 years after episode 1 🙏)
As usual Ridge steals the spotlight from his brother, at Thorne's own wedding no less 😂😂
Meanwhile, Steph is much more magnanimous a person than everybody gives her credit for. I was never, ever, ever walking Brooke down any aisle.

Thorne is a supporting actor. But only for a few episodes, I did feel that Taylor was falling for thorne when she was seeing him with Claudia. And admitted to Stephanie, she was attracted to both.
And here Brooke and Thornes wedding is the most special wedding I ever seeing on B&B. From long friendship to lovers.

LOL. 'Marriage'. As of 2024, Brooke has been married 15 times or something, 8 of those times to Ridge.
These people just need a one-year exclusivity contract, that expires without any other obligations after a year. Everyone would be much happier. Instead, they get 'married' as if it is permanent, when all of the 20 marriages on this show even up to this point in 2001 lasted a year or two each, on average.
At least as of now Brooke isn’t pestering Ridge to get remarried for the umpteenth time. That’s actually refreshing for once
