Bryce Canyon & Grand Canyon North Rim - we saw Bison!

A day hiking Bryce Canyon National Park, we stopped overnight in Panguitch and visited the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

Bryce is such a beautiful place. You did one of the best loop trails in the park. Looks like a "heck of a place to loose a cow".

You made the right choice to visit the North Rim, if you only have time for one rim, this is the one to go to. It's 1,000 feet (304 m) higher than the South Rim, so the trees are much bigger and nicer. ... and it's cooler.

We were very surprised by the forest leading into the North Rim. Such a contrast when you get to the lookouts.
