These songs reminds me of my late father in the 90's . He used to work in mines in South Africa (Teba ).Every times he comes back home he used to play the Soul Brothers
Ezingasoze zabuna I opened my eyes my parents playing the SOUL Brothers i joined them till today I am 53 years. I remember in 1989 when it rained cats and dogs at Queens Ground kwa Bulawayo in Zimbabwe I will never ever for get that rain 😂😂😂😂 atleast the show was postponed to Barbarfeilds stadium the stadium was so full some part of the stadium fell to the ground yoooooooo we really enjoyed, after the 1989 show i packed my bags for greener pastarures in SA i never looked back 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 i remember i was only 20years when I came to South Africa ❤❤❤❤❤🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I started listening to Soul Brothers as early as 1979 when I was a teenager & progressed up to a fully grown adult in the 1990s . This group produced the best sound that captured both the old and young fans. I respect this group dearly
My father was from Bulawayo, e Maphisa (Khezi). Now I know why he loved Soul Brothers! I was born and bred in Francistown in Botswana to this music... He brought Zim with him and planted it in our hearts...
My homie let us go home soon after Covid19 I will pass through picking u to drive home...... we are driving from Scotland via Italy to Byo then Harare. We will be listening to Soul brothers ..... kkkkkkk nice music and dances
Their music still good but unfortunately the four colleague died now remaining one Moses Ngwenya the king of piano in this world i respect him terribly
Hey hey gone are the days bantu, this song reminds one day when my uncle had brought a new radio with him, this brilliant piece takes me back to those hay days
These Legends were chamnpions of Truth and originality. Memories of me growing up a little boy with no idea what good music was but everytime they started jamming to these songs id start dancing till this day 🔥🔥
Yah, G O Ds(good old days) Singoganda ganda thina sibaya ganda yah. David Masondo and all of his crew dancing with smiles on their faces. Ah you were the best madoda. I used to imitate the dances of David, and when we were playing with my siblings l would say "yimi David Masondo" 😊😊
This takes me back in the 90s I was just teenager girl loved dancing a lot. I could dance their music in the sitting room and I never bothered about friends. It's a shame some of them are not with us anymore. Rest well David Masando I bet a lot of people are missing you like I do. Keep resting man till we meet at our big homestead 😢😢😢
Moses ngwenya i was coring him my uncles he was going out with my aunt is when i started hearing from soul brothers music from 1988 up to date i still remember Dave mazondo R.I.P
Indeed those were memorable days. Those songs remind me of Mr BWALYA who was a soldier of the Zambia Army . He was really fond of the soul Brothers. He could invite me when listening to the songs on Saturdays . That's when my interest developed in them .That was in the early 80s.These Artists were a marvel to watch and to listen to.
It hurts me more because I saw matebeleland being intentionally ravaged for political reasons. I am fro bulawayo. Yes that's the railroad was centered. Suddenly we saw fake ass engineers with funny names coming to the city. First they were holding irreverent degrees in in mechanical engineering . Don't bring biology to a mechanical field. It happened. Some of us were targeted for a kill. I am sorry I ran. Happy I survived and raised my kids. Ask Godfrey Majonga to clear that issue. Fuckboy Mnanangagwa knows it. Dont ask him he will lie. He will beat Christopher Columbus for discovering Jamaica. Long live burning spear
❤❤❤I'm a 2000 child but this songs are amazing. I love them .
Same i Used to hear them in the kasi same with abo zola 😂
I was in the stadium, I remember very well it was 1987 JPS cup final between orlando pirates vs durban bush bucks @ ellis part. great memories
Eish Pirates went on to loose that game after leading 3-1 in the first leg
I can tell this song evokes sweet memories. On another note, music had meaning back then, since there were no Djs, playing pre-recorded songs
Umdlali brazo
Salute. More life muntu wakuthi
