This is the definitive version of "Go Straight" for me. Really captures the classic EDM vibes of the original and even takes some quite fitting liberties with them. This is how "remakes" should be done.
this game marked the life of so many early gamers forever. I will also be grateful for videogame music artists Like Yuzo Koshiro who were just in to a whole other level on their game back then. Thank you for the amazing work you did on this amazing project
@@axtonganha Yeah.. the original.. I understand it's a cool little nod to the fans of the previous games, but the 16 bit music is so out of place in a modern game like SOR4. I hope somebody is able to mod the SOR Remake tracks into the game's PC version at some point.
SOR4 has a different style, so if you want classic SOR cranked up to the max you stick with SORR. Another great thing about SORR is its mod scene, it's insanely good, I was literally blown away by Rudra 2029 demo alone.
Music from the Streets of Rage series was always heavily rooted in early 1990s 'house' style dance music. You can hear similar chord progressions and electric piano solos in songs like Rhythm of the Night by Corona and Mr. Vain by Culture Beat, but the one you're looking for specifically is the bridge from Be My Lover by La Bouche. czcams.com/video/g8m5Tp7Uqbc/video.html

And, now we have Kitty Phonk.
Lol!
You don't even got to be a SOR fan to enjoy this beat and feel the flow. This one is gonna be on my playlist for sure ✌

When Mewtwo blows your ass away with one move this song plays
Every part of this version of the actual song is like the unused beatmix version, and Inner City's Good Life, combined to the max! LOVE IT!!!!!
Exactly bruh
Inner City "Good life" :)
We know it, but SoR2 version sounds better.
@@LLawlietTK yes but no
A true classic
Outrage-That piano

Inner City good life
Them days was really something serious back then and that time Sega Genesis
I almost feel like this mix goes too hard and doesn't give you any time to breath
Oh damn; it's so juicy, it's dripping!
This is one of the best remixes I've heard to this masterpiece; it's terrific work.
Me too!
This should've been used in the new SoF4. Such an inventive remix!
Unexpected this to be an excellent piece of electric music
Wish Streets of Rage 4 sounded like this...
Wish SOR4 had a remaster of this stage too
@@axtonganha Have I got news for you!
@@KamenProwler They put Go Straight music in SOR4 and Arcade too

In the Japanese version "Bare Knuckles" is also called "Streets of Rage".
This song should get in part 4
Jason Manning trus👊sick chune🔊🔊🔊
*snorts* Yeah, because after Sega sodomized Bombergames
maybe if they cannibalise SORR v5
they could make SOF4 suck a bit less I guess...
Best song of Streets of Rage
1:30 is awesome!!!
God!!!! so much nostalgia...
I wish I'm wrong, but probably SORR will be better than SOR4...
Now that the game is out what are your thoughts?
@@coffefighterz9641 Hard to beat SORR in terms of fan service but SOR4 is a good entry.
Even if i have really liked sor4, sorr still beat it, timeless classic

SORR4 is good, but SORR is awesome, and even funnier
Im going to play this joint in Baltimore when the convention comes back. Also I'm moving back to my beloved home city. I miss it dearly.
SoR 4 announced, officially , fuck yeah

Very different.... but also, very good.

Pretty decent music
Early 90s dance was the best. Bar NONE.
This song better be In the new movie that’s coming out !
Love how this references a little heavier on the Detroit influences.
Why does 1:30 Sound Familiar...? I Swear I Heard that Exact Melody somewhere Before...

Welcome to streets of rage's music, where just about every good song feels like it's been plagiarized lol :D

Very likely since that's some pretty standard EDM stuff. Also quite common in pop music of the time.
@@vladpiranha Excellent comment
Good version! But not better than the original one. Good anyway!
