I spent most of my day today listening to both Pandit Ramesh Narayan and Dr. Sreevalsan J. Menon to get relief from head concussion. We were also fortunate to host Padit Ramesh Narayan at Chinmaya Mission in NJ.
We learn a lot from this people. Every Indian will feel and be proud that WE ARE INDIANS FROM SOUTH AND NORTH and should remain so. Never should we feel we are South Indian/North Indian.
A unifying art making every music lover that we are Indians first.
Enjoyed every second of the entire clip. GREAT.
Such a gem of a song... beautiful 👌🏻(Came here after watching Bandish bandits)
Simply magical Pt.Ramesh ji you are recarnation of Pt.Jasraj, what a great Bandish 🌹🌹🙏🙏
Very informative session guruji🙏😊❤
It was really BEAUTIFUL.. The way it starts with Sreevalsan Menon Sir singing the evergreen Thyagaraja Krithi "Rama Katha Sudha", a Krithi that has been sung by Evergreen Legends like Semmangudi Iyer Mama, G. N. Balasubramanian Mama, MLV, Maharajapuram Santhanam, Dr. M Balamuralikrishna and Sikkil Gurucharan, and Finally ending with Pt. Ramesh Narayan Sir singing the Megh Malhar Bandish "Aaye Ati Dhoom Dham", sung mainly by Pt Rattan Mohan Sharma and Pt Sanjeev Abhayankar.
🙏🙏👏👏👍
Guruji ♥️ 🙏

It is right in hindustani. But in carnatic I think there is no exact equivalent and Madhyamavathi may be closer. Nevertheless, mathyamavathi by itlelf a melodious raga.
Excellent.
♥️
