This is so useful, thank you so much for this video! I've been watching your videos since before I started vet school, I am now coming to the end of my 2nd year and your videos give so much insight! Very interesting discussion 👍 I first learnt about income protection and critical illness when applying for a mortgage... it gets recommended by mortgage advisors because if you can't work for a long period of time it's a question they ask as to how you would pay your mortgage...
My brother also works in finance and did Maths as a degree at university and his best advice is to invest... especially if interest rates on savings are low (when base rates are low like they have been until very recently).
