- During the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan and Cody were quite the formidable duo, functioning as the perfect team. But that's not to say sometimes Obi-Wan left his best bro to do all the dirty work.

Honestly, I'd compliment Cody because he is a pretty cool guy up until he is controlled by his chip.

He was kindof locked into it due to RotS, so it couldn't have occured before then.
Does make sense though even without his chip he'd have stayed with the Empire, he is a bit of a stickler for the rules unlike Rex.
I never realized how often Cody just opts to throw hands with the droids rather than trying to find another gun
Well I’ve heard Cody specializes in hand-to-hand combat, so it’s probably one of his preferences.
I'm still impressed he and his boys TACKLED Grievous, lived through it, AND THEN Cody decks him in the face!

@@adamallen8787 Yes to both things you mentioned but we will also get Cody in flashbacks of the clone wars. So pre order 66. So I would love to have some great Cody and Obi-wan moments in live action to highlight their bond, camaraderie and familiarity with each other. I mean, they have fought side by side in a war. Cody had better be more then cliff notes to Obi-wan after all that.
@@jerricho11 Very true if obi wan never learned about the chips then he probably had some bad PTSD from order 66. I would love to see them in present day maybe Cody following leads on obi wan because in comics when a Jedi survived order 66 Vader went to the specific clone commander who served with that Jedi so he can hunt them down

While there are many reasons to love Cody, my favorite has to be that he threw hands with Grievous, and lived to tell the tale.
Exactly! How many clones can actually say they dog piled Grievous and survived? The Jedi haven’t even been able to accomplish a feat such as that.
