I was there last month - nice town. The small enclosed marina (which you show at the end) is lovely. Spent a night in Desenzano, visited Sirmione from there, then headed by boat for Gargnano for several days - much smaller, with a nice little marina and waterfront promenade, and mountains close by and across the lake.
