- Today I am going to show How To Make Tabletop VORTEX Water FOUNTAIN at Home.
Here I used a water pump ,two plastic jar and lighting .It gives wonderful visual effect.

The water tends to flow in one or two streams down the outside (as shown) unless you crenelate the top edge of the vortex container, forcing the overflow to be distributed around the circumference. Try to make the 'V' cuts as evenly deep and spaced, as possible around the edge. Then play with the volume of water in the reservoir while it is running, until you get the best effect.
Fantastic idea.. looks cool.
.. if one is able to drill a hole in glass a coloured glass vase would look unreal.
for once, I would want to see you DIY guys write down the list of material and directions so I can do this.

Matthew Eubanks You can buy the containers from any shopping market., a fountain pump from any online shopping site like Amazon Snapdeal etc. Or you may find it in offline store.. Hope this info helps :)
How is holding up the pump to show the brand name not the same thing?
I think the video is pretty self-explanatory, to be honest. LED strips, two clear container, glue gun, a soldering iron, submersible water pump, and some clear tubing that will snugly fit over the pump nozzle. Would be nice to have it all itemized, but if short of that, I think the information is right there in the video.
Remember the silicone caulking around the pump wire hole!

Since the voltage on the pump was 220-240, and since the pump was made in India, I assume this video was done in India. Well, duh... Anyway, in America, one would have to find a similar pump at 120 Vac before starting this project. I would also use my drill press for the holes, tho the soldering iron did OK.

Just cause you can do it a different way doesnt mean its a better way. Also dont "assume" hes from india just cause of the materials he uses. THAT is what makes you seem to be a racist. If you really want it to look good add some glitter, color of your choice or a combo, to the water. It will give the appearance of hundreds of sparkling lights in the water. Also using color changing LEDs and a few drops of food coloring, again your choice of color, to the water will give it a very unique look. You would probably have to make the tank yourself but a tank 12 inches in diameter and 24 to 36 inches tall would be something to admire in the house at night when everything is dark. Of course you would require a pump that delivers more GPM but it would be worth it.

Pretty.But what is that pump thing ? Where to get it & is it much ? What store I ask in ? Ace Hardware, Home Depot,or Lowe's? What of clear tube? Can I buy just single cheap expending ? OK at least you show it's a sumbmersive pump. Must be 4 fish tanks, etc. Also, I can catch the name if pause even if not super close I can see it. The mini fridge madeout of styrofoam I had no clue what it was 4 internal cooling machine.

Prem Prakash might be too late, but for others that come across the video. If you take a tube and bend it too sharply, it will buckle or kind itself. But if you cut a v-shaped wedge and then bend the the tube to close the wedge up, the tube will not kink. From there seal the tube, and you are done.
Side note: the buckling effect will happen in other materials also. Steel, copper, plastic, gets will all exhibit this behaviour to some extent. A tube can be heated to allow for shaper bends. For plastic tubing a cigarette lighter could be used to gently heat the tube untill you reach the correct bend.

any submersible pump from a pet (fish) store, hobby shop, or garden center, will do. Often used to power garden fountains.
