You are killin it as a first time mama. Your second will be a breeze. Good luck with sleep training, it is emotionally hard but Rocky will surprise you n it totally works!
My son is a few days younger than Rocky and we sleep trained a little over 4m. I wanted to wait but he went through the sleep regression very early and he completely stopped sleeping in his bassinet. He would only sleep on us so all day was spent in a rocking chair with him sleeping on us and then he’d only sleep on me at night. We both had terrible sleeps and were up constantly. It wasn’t something I could do anymore. He falls asleep independently now and I am so happy we did it. My boyfriend and I have evenings to spend time together again. Good luck with sleep training you’ll be so glad you did it!
Hi! Omg this exact thing has happened for us, we are in our last week of his fourth month. He was sleeping beautifully in his crib before. Is your son still sleeping well after the regression?
Hey Kilean! My son is 3 days younger than your son! I’ve been following TCB and my son falls asleep independently! There is some naps where he really needs me and i contact nap! But it’s possible! And I know it’s hard to hear them cry but what I recommend is stay busy and mute the monitor. Hearing him cry will just make it harder for you. I’m going to purchase those blackout paper because my curtains aren’t doing enough!! Thank you! Goodluck ❤️

regarding the binky thing - my little one is exactly rocky's age and the pacifier had become the bane of my existence -- UNTIL i purchased the tommee tippee ultra lightweight silicone pacifier and holy cow those things stay in SO MUCH LONGER. my life has completely changed as of this week - instead of replacing it 20 times in the night, it's like 2-3 times. just thought i'd throw that out there! i've been looking forward to this video of yours to see what you plan to do as i'm considering the same class from TCB. currently my girl is swaddled and taking all her naps in the crib but in a snuggle me. i just bought the magic merlin suit because i've heard good things using it to transition out of the swaddle, but she seems a little too small for it still (she was born really small). looking forward to seeing how this all goes for you and wishing the absolute BEST of luck!!

We are on night 12 of TCB. It has worked for the most part but it is constantly a challenge getting him to sleep at the right time every night. His last nap is different every single day and I'm always torn between trying to fit in a 4th nap or going for a crazy long wake window. In the past I would just give him the 4th nap and push bedtime back, but as you know from TCB, she recommends a specific bedtime. Good luck!!!
I have a 7 month old now that had this issue at 5 months, it’s tricky but I found it’s best to stick to wake windows strictly but be flexible with sleep times. Until the naps get consolidated around 6-7 months and they’re strictly following a 3 nap schedule it’s not worth trying to have nap/bedtime at the exact same time everyday. Bedtime can vary upto 45 mins and I didn’t notice her have any problems with sleep training.
My daughter is 2 days older than rocky and it’s so funny watching your videos bc it’s like watching myself take care of my baby! Biggest thing I’ve learned is to be PATIENT!!!! Let him struggle to put that bink in his mouth longer than 5 seconds before you help him!

I started last night!! Was rough at 4am but over all he did great! The biggest challenge I can see is weaning him off feedings🙈 because he has ONLY cried for feeds.... ugh so hard! But I keep telling myself the same.... at the end it’s all worth it!!!!!!!!
I literally started last Friday so a week from tomorrow and mine is am doing great. He is two younger than rocky! Still will try to wake up at 2:30 for comfort but I try my hardest to fight through it because I know it is temporary! If he can lay on his side he may find comfort in that.

One tip is to put a few binky’s in the crib that way he can reach over and grab one if he is able to. ☺️

They learn so fast! Our baby didn’t really cry during the gentle training, more like whining. He caught on super fast! You’ve got this!
