It was definitely Sony dropping the ball here. They weren't allowing digital pre-orders and the game wasn't available until Noon on the 3rd. Additionally, since the problem is with the PSN store, it can't just be "fixed" since they are also super adamant about only updating stuff on Tuesday.
I think the preorder thing was the games fault. Nis didn't have preorders for steam either and they knew about it because reps messaged them about it. Dunno what they were doing. I assume just hiding the total cost of DLC or something.

weird reason i don't have a costume pack and i bought the glasses pack with others, i try color but still nothing, wish they could refund my 15$. what can i do to get the costume i already bought it but the dark assembly doesn't show it.
I got the Disgaea costume set and tried to apply it in game on the Switch version, but got the message I got the booster weapon set pack again??? Anyone else seen this problem? I don't know how to talk to anyone about a refund or reporting the bug.
Primal, why do you pronounce evility and melodia differently, in d6 they say her name as melo-dia, not meliodia, and evility is a play on ability.

idk tho but i go all the dlc already trough steam, no issues definitly a sony fck up, enjoying the game on my steam deck for sure just a hint here dont overlevel at the start straight up focus on doing the dlc as it scales towards your higest party member and pretty sure the equipment also scales whit that

As of the 13th my nintendo season pass is missing the hothead, princess and dreamer (Australia), but I do have pleineir.
On switch I have the season pass, but for some reason the story for Adell, Serephina and Fuka is not unlocked, it is mentioned in the text on the season pass, but not in the actual list for it when you see what stories are in the season pass on the store, and it is the only DLC that is still purchasable on the store for me as if i have not purchased it, is this just a bug?
Same. In Australia we only got the full game today. Cannot get Hothead, princess and dreamer without paying extra, despite having the season pass. Have sent a message to Nintendo support.

I know that Disgaea sometimes forgets to add things but as I'm looking at Hyperfocus... it doesn't say that it increases for each member of the affiliated squad it just says "increases attack power by 5% for leader of affiliated squad" I'm sure that it works like explained but there's no way to gather that without testing clearly lol but hey more NIS things amirite?
19 members with Hyperfocus give the leader +95% damage, yes. Only leader.

Hey primal love you videos I don’t know if you posted about this but I managed to work out how to use the season pass and get the dlc installed when you go to the store page and click a dlc episode it will say free then when it opens it try’s to charge you agin to the right of the screen click the 3 dots and there’s a drop down menu choose the second option then it will say free click it and it will say purchased then go into you game and add the dlc to your game I think the first option is the ps4 version of the dlc that’s why it try’s to charge you agin for it please make an update to help the community I hope this helps all you guys enjoy your dlc characters sorry it’s a long message have a great day all primal I hope you see this soon take care mate love your content

Hello, I have a problem: I was reancarnating my characters 9 of them and suddenly fuuji and flonne lost about 10 mil in the stats. Is there a way to fix that?
no. stats they gain from levels, don't stay when you reincarnate.
if you reincarnated, put them in the 'extra stats' group and leveled them with maxed subclasses, to get a base of 10 million stats, then reincarnate them again
you'll need to relevel them in the extra stats group. they don't just permanently get that 'growth' bonus, to be able to get to 10m just by normal leveling.
I’m going to buy them *all*. I am really enjoying it. Best DISGAEA game IMO.

laharl, girl laharl and adell are the most usefull characters for my playstyle and artina and flonne are indispensable because of the unique evilties they have.

Is witholding plenair not a little scummy? Especially on switch wher eypu cant get a season pass- only the version with all dlc included for like £90. £90 for plenair....
its not being "withhold" its a bug on sonys side, as for the switch your not paying £90 for plenair, your paying £90 for the game and all the DLC, if you dont buy the complete edition you can still get plenair you just have to buy all the DLC characters first

On switch you can get the season pass if you access the eshop from the dlc person
9th of October is Monday, someone said Sony updates the PlayStation store on Tuesdays, so did Prime actually mean the 10th not the 9th?
NIS said on Twitter that everything should be fixed by the 10th.
Primal I got the highest price package that contains the season pass and all the dlc. It contains all the content as far as I know that is available at this time. I got it on the switch as a digital download. It wasn't cheap. I paid $105 and change for it. I hope the season pass adds more content later for what I paid for it. It seems that only the Playstation version of the game is bugged.

I don't agree with Usalia being terrible. Ya, maybe her evilties aren't OP like some of the others. But her skills and Infernal Treasure are. I think you're sleeping on that one. Her Infernal Treasure instantly charges all the other Infernal treasures. You talked about Adel being the strongest hitting unit in the game? Well, she can help him get his Infernal Treasure faster, or if it goes on cool down help him get it back instantly again. She's a massive force multiplier in that regard.
Not to mention she comes with a 3x3 inherent personal attack skill. You don't have to 'grind up' weapon ranks to get a 3x3 skill, you can use Usalia for farming. I was able to get a jump start on it using her.

no idea i never liked her personally but i guess shes popular in japan and no they wont add anymore characters now, all the DLC was made at the start of the year for the japanese release

"Her own game" being a Japan-only mobile gacha game.
It feels like they just pushed the post game characters into dlc and called it a day. It would have been nice to get guest characters like Gig or Nisa.
Additionally it would have been nice if the dlc included more generic units. As I like raising them more than unique ones.
Even if it was just Deathsabers, Mass Produced Kurtis, and Mass Produced Final Bosses I would have been all over it (especially if they came with Evil Ranger Pink, Kurtis, and Desco)
I don't understand Nis they don't like Axel but they just literally gave him the best soundtrack in the series lmao he's still my fav character no matter what

Huh. Looks like Fire or Water builds are best. Unfortunately, I'm looking at your guide on GameFAQs, and it looks like Baal Body forces you into a Star build. Can you hit stat cap without equipment, so you can use Barefoot X instead just as effectively?
you can yes and tbh the fire/water builds are VERY specialized in that they're only worth it if you wanna see how high you can get, in regular stages or pvp? not very practical at all

not sure you can cheese baal easily without any DLC, i didnt use any of it for my clears
Yeah the costume set also not working. I don't see any alternate costumes to change into just the stupid glasses custom. It suppose to allow you to change it custom to look like the characters from past title or at least that what the disruption says. Mind you I'm playing disgaea 7 on Nintendo switch. I have all the DLC but the disgaea custom set isn't showing up 💢😡 waste of 💲15.

this sucks, first I had to wait until today to get the game while others got it early and or for free, then I had to spend £80 for something that is kinda broken only to have to wait 3 more days so I can finally start playing, I wanna play with all dlc characters available.
And then we have Australia, who only got the game released today...
I honestly only ever buy dlc characters I like, namely Fuka, Desco, Usalia and Laharl-chan. Everyone else who comes with them is bonus. It's just weird how they were paired this time, not being by origin.
It's actually a bit sad there isn't any "special" dlc characters like in D6. I really liked the Hololive characters.
they're paired the way they are so the fan favourites are not all together in the same bundles this way it means people buy multiple bundles just to get a couple of characters they like
I miss Metalia in D5. Never played D6 because I heard a lot of negative about it. Stuck with D5 till now

Yep steam is fine. Waited this long to play it on PC anyways, not another console as i already played it on switch 8 mths ago. PS sounds whacky nowadays, aren’t they more hardcore on censorship for games too?
Ok some important comments. If whoever is reading this does the dlc missions that will get you the characters at the start of the game. You will avoid some tough fights. These dlc missions will scale all the mobs you face to your current highest level character you have. That will mean they will have more combat skills. Making them more dangerous and tough to beat. One of the fights I did the boss was one shotting my characters. Can you imagine how scary those fights will be after you level grind? Again it's just better to do it first thing. You will benefit throughout the game if you do.
even at max level they arnt that hard, master a few classes on a war lady or get some juice bar stats and you'll destroy them effortlessly
the bonuses the game gives the characters are random too. i once got a fight with the broken ability "evade everything" and couldnt do shit to beat it but once i quit and tried again the bonus was different thankfully
Just reincarnate ur characters few times. At 9999 level, their stats still far below 1 m so it shouldn't be that hard
I've just bought and downloaded D7 on Switch (european release today, why the heck is it 3 days late?). DLCs seem to work just fine

That doesn't exist on nintedo switch and on steam. you get the DLC by themselves or the whole package. no mention of season pass anywhere.

You get the base game or the game with a few stuff... or the game with all the dlc. Base, deluxe, ultimate. Nowhere is it mentionned there is a season pass. Each DLC have their own specific name and purpose, there's no DLC pack separate from the game. nothing with the word "season" or "pass" anywhere in the name or description. Is this a UK thing? Or pre-release copy thing? Pre-order thing? because that's the only reason I can think of where you guys have a season pass and not me. I got all the DLC unlocked including Pleinair and currently playing with them in my party.
There's no DLC bundle of any kind separate from the base game. It's either game+DLC or game then DLC one by one...

yes im going to ignore fenrich because wind is VASTLY weaker compared to fire/water builds as for switch/PC you just buy them individually to get Plenair ect
Laharl, Etna, and Rozalin is a weird grouping, I'd have expected some variation of Flonne instead of Rozalin. It's weird they'd change that since those 3 are the most famous 3 characters of the first game you'd think they'd either keep them together or completely split them up.
To generate more money, perhaps? I don't know really.
it makes total sense because it forces you to buy both. it makes no sense for them to keep 3 popular characters like that in the same pack when they can split them and get people to buy more
It's so they can make people buy more than 1-2 DLC packs to get all the characters they want. It's common tactics like this, since, you know, MONEY
Makes perfect sense, most people probs be buying ultimate/complete stories anyways. The story with laharl and fuji was fun and only really worked with rozalin anyways
It's cool, they're basically mixing every main series with ones from another and they're already all established with each other. It makes for a neat in-universe series of interactions where no one series is isolated from the rest.

I can't believe they managed to screw up the DLC for the Playstation version of Disgaea twice in a row.
Just an FYI, I would not put money on this being fixed by the 9th. For Disgaea 6, it took them over a month and a half to fix the DLC issue on PS5, and I still think they only did it because I applied for a refund on Paypal (It was fixed literally the day after, but Paypal still ruled in my favor.)
its litarally a sony issue, not NIS otherwise it wouldnt have worked fine on the japanese release and there would be problems with the switch/steam DLC

I feel bad for non steam players. I have the steam deck. Which is amazing btw. I highly recommend. Got all the dlc, everything works perfectly and we just had a minor bug fix that fixed some issues where certain skills would activate too quickly. Never noticed it but I’m happy that they actively make updates. I have Plenair and she comes with a powerful gun. Busted from the beginning. I’m working on getting Adell, can’t wait. I already knew from the getgo that he was gonna be the strongest attacker in the game. He’s always been my favorite character since Disgaea 2 as I have a love of characters that specialize in hand to hand combat.
Season pass at 62$ with taxes for extra characters?
Too expensive, usually we do get some returning characters in the base game.

Just so you know, the base game was 79.99$ before taxes and season pass is 53.49$ before taxes.
At that price range, I'll get one of the super game coming out this fall.
