is there any tutorial for making cd/saturn-styled music? i see everyone make songs like these but i literally cant find any tutorial or information online, it’s like they’re a cult and they’re purposely gatekeeping this info from everyone 😭
To be honest, the main reason why there isn't any tutorials or any information online is because there isn't really a definitive answer for these kinds of questions. So I'll try my best to give you the best advice, study the music; learn how it's done, and it's music style. In Sonic R's case, they tend to use a lot of Roland Products for their instruments (that are not the brass). For the brass, Any half-realistic brass soundfont or synth works. The drums are tough to pinpoint, so I just used ones that sound similar.
