  • Madison is a village in Lake County, Ohio. Madison village was founded in 1867. Madison Historical Society is in what was originally built and opened as a Carnegie Library. Built in 1918. Madison Village Town Hall was built in 1867. It served as a church, bank, post office, and town hall. It is now used by the Rabbit Run Community Arts Association as a Fine Arts building. His Majesty's Bed and Breakfast Inn is a charming historical Inn right down town. Madison, Ohio is known for the great wineries in Ohio. One favorite estate winery for locals is Debonne Vineyard boasting over 175 acres of vines. The Madison Seminary is a historic building in Madison, Ohio, currently in private ownership. It functioned as a school, hospital, and housing for the families of those killed in the American Civil War. Built in 1891 and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
