- Some friends and I play a few hours of Devil May Cry 5 with the multiplayer mod. I had footage from awhile ago of the 3 of us playing it but didn't have enough to make into a video. Recently one of my friends and me decided to play some more recently. I may have enough Elden Ring seemless multiplayer and convergence to edit into a video. Can easily be done with the co-op trainer. Set the Scenario to LDK and then set the Enemy Difficulty to DMD. They'll even go DT.

The floor never broke for Nero, so his camera broke during the Goliath fight.
If the fight managed to get to stage 3, it would have been like he was a spectator watching whoever managed to be the one who broke the floor fighting him. In game, you would be able to see anyone up there watching you and in their POV their camera finally pulls itself together and let's them watch the fight with goliath

Just got into the series just last year. We did let’s plays of my friends watching me play 3-5 for the first time. They just kept feeling better and better
Ya dmc is a very good game series i started around 8 Years old and im still very young im 14 not that young but anyways its still good to know people still like this game

pretty sure multiplayer (as well as divergence) were meant to be added in the special edition along with vergil (evident by the fact vergil has a cameo icon even tho he cant be in cameos) but either due to time or some other reason they were cut, and so modders used those unused multiplayer and divergence files and created the mod with the use of them (at least im pretty sure thats how the story goes)
Yeah, I’m not sure on how the mod was made. I just assumed they used the split up co-op functions (when you’re sharing a level playing separate characters) and just built on that. But with how it functions it would make sense if the skeleton for it was already there

Yeah, I play on steam. I had to download a mod loader and script extender from nexus to get it to work. And to specifically play with friends I had to set matchmaking to extended to match with friends
So how does it work? I wanna try it out with a friend
Honestly it’s been awhile since i installed, but I’m pretty sure you need a script extender for it to work. You set the matchmaking to extended, somehow that helps you match with friends. You go into the same mission at the same time as different characters and it’ll put you together. It can be a little buggy at times but it works surprisingly well from what I expected.

Honestly I need the PC version to thish game coop sounds so fun compared to the Xbox version we get coop in story I never acculy realized but if you play online mode the second person that controls v or Dante or Nero depending on how you choose is playing at the same time as you just a different path say I play Nero somebody is playing as v in the alternate path if you play online it will even show you there gamer tag showing you that there in the game now what impressed me is I never realized it was a person playing with me in just sitting there watching v beat the shit out of enemy's lol just to realize a person is sss combating the shit out of it lol
My friends got me onto this series recently. We’ve got a let’s play on the Channel of my blind playthroughs of 3-5. Devin, my friend in the ladder half of the video, taught me how to set it up. Pretty sure it was a script extender and separate mod? It’s been a few months so I can’t really remember. But you have to manually turn it on to extended and go into a mission around the same time to match up. Works surprisingly well seeing as the developers probably never intended on you being in the same room as the other player. I’ve heard it forces you to separate around certain bosses, mostly Vergil.

This has far too much potential. We also need to add some custom characters of our own creation to add to this. That'll really evolve this game.
In the Devil May Cry Peak Combat mobile game they have something like that, but it feels more like OC’s and repetitive 3 player level clearing. But the raid bosses are neat
i do not understand why coop after end game unlock wasnt a thing even bloody place no coop why just why ? , it only mod to made it work which it a huge waste kind of sad
