i cant begin to imagine how i a junior with a new team could be comprting against this? We use the storage space of a cafe for a wo rkshop😂😂@@Christianity_Ronaldo_7
I grew up playing with Lego Mindstorms robots, then tinkering with other kits as I got older, but never had the chance to do anything like this. I'm a software engineer now with a 3yo son, and I cannot WAIT for him to be old enough to try robotics. If his school doesn't have a FIRST group they soon will! This is awesome to watch, I hope everyone involved is doing great!
@@pattfromwiisportsmaybe refusing is too much but students need to do the most of the work, even FIRST says it is not a race. Of course mentors should help and teach, but not build.
Bro who cares tho? First of all, I find the idea somewhat ridiculous. If you love the project enough to mentor it, you want the kids to do the actual building, no? But second, the quality dosent come from mentors. It comes from equipment and money, and… I mean capitalism baby! Could my team do this? No, we don’t even have a cnc machine. But I’ve had great experiences and learned a lot, and so long as we’re not communists, it’s ok that certain teams are better funded. Just… relax and enjoy the competition bro (Also our robot held 6th place in the world for a time(our district is the first in the world and we got a good result there), anddd… I mean not relevant to the discussion in any way, but it is a cool brag)
lol, tf Twister is Hate Speach? If you are going to hate this team, at least have a good reason. They should be ejected from frc, not because of the name, but because the students don't even build the robot they just send it off to nasa
with all due respect, please don’t play against us 👍👍
yo i am backup driver for 8576 we won with 118 and 7616 as an alliance
We had to play against them at Green Country in Oklahoma, great team.
The note transfer between the intake and the turret is amazing!
from my POV, that means that there's two whole handoffs between the intake and the amp
HOW DOES IT WORK WTFFF
another year of "where do they find these songs the artist only has 10k monthly listeners"
Holy shaving cream this is the most insane design ever
and I love it
Mentor designed 😥

And here I thought Horizon's turret was complicated...
Learned our lesson. Stowed the climb down.
Good choice 😆 @@ethanreed4517
They did it again with the video length!!!
They did it to the everybody too
Insane robot as usual
That pocketing on the turret is gorgeous
Isn’t it always
The details are incredible. Good luck this year! Can’t wait to check out Twister at Champs!
Dual side intake + turret is crazy
66799A did it in vex last year
what is vex lol
@@king.brandonfrc on a smaller scale, different ruleset with very limited custom manufacturing

Excited to see this one in action
Lucien turned on anti gravity for this
Certified chefs. Thanks for another gorgeous robot!
Wow! you guys never fail with an amazing build.
How the heck does that turret handoff work
Awesome as always
Remarkable!
Crazy looking, def one of the most insane bots I've seen, very unique too
first saw this on astonishing a, glad to see other teams doing this. good robot, good reveal
It's really amazing

SMOOOOOOOOOTH!! y'all are COOKING!!
WOW!!!
HOLY MOLY😭😭😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
moly holy
how exactly does the turret work? I know it reads the april tag but I just kinda want more details.
0:51 Crazy low delay between pickup and shooting!
What are the rules this year? Only 1 game piece possession at a time?
cracked
As a newbie team still with a kitbot its safe to say we are terrified
How do you get the notes through, a gravitron? 😭
I wuv you :)
The climb is showing signs of caution... I wonder why 118 would be scared of climbs 🤔🤔🤔
*insert standard comment about my tax dollars funding this team or smth here*

we're cooked!
this team doesn't do shit. they get everything done by nasa scientists
❤echo assist

Bro.
Welp I’ll see yall next week!!
Dang 6 competitions in one season??? If only California was a district...
Swerve and a turret? That feels a bit like overkill
I mean it’s 118. overkill is what they do best
Spinning is fun 🤷
@cassandral2273 I'll try spinning, that's a good trick!
Its gonna be insane for optimizing autos though. The first 8 note auto will be done with a turret mark my words

mom come pick me up, im scared
Coincidentally this video is 1:18 long
something tells me its not a coincidence
Does the hang not count as tensioning the chain?
Please reread R106 more thoroughly.

So this is where all my taxes dollars are going!
Finally a good use of tax dollars

A regional i mean
It is not high school competition that students have fun and be proud of what they made anymore, it is a mentors' robotic competition.
I’m sure the students on robonauts are proud of what they’ve made
I mean our mentor refuses to help us with our robot and we still made it to worlds two years ago
@@jackwilson7082 did they make it, hell nah i dont think so

this robot is terrible and sucks, the name twister is hate speech to Oklahoma and I vote the robonauts ejected from frc because of this

@@Christianity_Ronaldo_7 I agree with this. There’s no way high school students come up with all of this every single year.
