Use Wiseco pistons and Total Seal piston rings for higher compression.

Been watching your videos on the 951 direct injection seadoo’s as I own two of them. One is running the other one is complete but doesn’t run. I live in New Zealand and can’t find anyone who will work on them. I’m trying to find T connections to measure fuel pressure and air pressure. I have installed a compressor kit but still get a maintenance alarm when trying to fire her up. She pumps fuel and blows off air pipes. Using your videos to try and get her running 😂

It is almost impossible to tell what the issue would be without scanning it for codes. You may have to bite the bullet and pay to have that done. It could be a simple as a wire off somewhere or wires reversed.

I think the difference in air/fuel rail is because there is one DI model where the air inlet comes from the front.

Sounds Plausible . The engine is always the same but the head /air injectors and fuel rails are different.

Love your videos. Question regarding the cylinder head reassembly: do you think it's a typo that Sea Doo manual wants Molykote on the threads and Loctite under the cylinder head bolts? I agree with you that doesn't make sense.

I think the issue is they are trying to stop the bolts form seizing to the case. Mollycote on the bolts will stop that but I am not so sure how well the loctite holds on areas that don't have any threads.

Seadoo Refurb! Hey man just wondering what you are running for oil filters beings I can’t find the seadoo oem with the plastic mesh element. Obviously these Amazon china filter cross reference that have the paper elements but I’m hesitant having put fresh motors in two skis that had original engine still in them that were evenly low on compression. Any suggestion for a specific oil filter manufacture that have been proven in your rebuilds to not restrict or gum up to cause a lean situation. Thank man love the vids

I just purchase what is available at watercraft super store : watercraftsuperstore.com/products/sea-doo-2-stroke-oil-filter-sea-doo-rfi-di?_pos=1&_psq=2+stroke+oil+fil&_ss=e&_v=1.0 I have had no issues with them.
