NASCAR's Worst Crashes at Charlotte

With it being Charlotte week, here is a compilation of some of the worst NASCAR crashes at Charlotte. None of the crashes in this video are fatal. No crashes from the Charlotte Roval were included either. Thanks for watching and I will see you next time!

Charlotte has been a weird track. It can produce some rather forgettable races but then there are times when the place seems cursed and all hell breaks loose.
I know the same can be said for other tracks but there are a few over the past 20 years from Charlotte that come to mind pretty quickly.

This of course doesn't include the several fatalities that occurred at the track, including a rather gruesome death in which a driver was decapitated by a caution light.

In 1960, someone crashed into the wall, which at the time was just a simple road railing, and ripped the wall down and cut the car in half, the driver survived, but his leg was amputated. This happened in what was only the second coke cola 600( at the time it was called, the World 600). David Pearson won his first of 105 victory that day by 2 laps, on a flat tire over Fireball Robert’s

The Mark Martin crash in the 2006 Charlotte night race 🏁 was one of the hardest hits to wall 🧱 I have even seen, and to walk 🚶‍♂️ away from that crash with little no injuries is amazing. 😊
