I ADORED Spells for Forgetting! It's super atmospheric and the writing is so lovely, I really felt like I was on that island watching everything unfold! There's mystery, romance, and magic, what more could anyone want?! I really hope you enjoy it! 💙

Your enthousiasm for Spells For Forgetting is the entire reason I'm subscribed to Fairyloot🤣. All their books are so pretty! Spells was a 3 star, very good atmosphere, but I found it quite average overall. That said I love green and gold so I'm keeping this book forever. Hope you'll love it!

I actually put on hold yesterday at my local library How To Sell a Haunted House and the fact that this book was in your haul is more of a sign to read it!
The Writing Retreat is getting polarizing reviews but I REALLY enjoyed how unhinged it is! The Drift is also great-much more fast-paced than C.J. Tudor's other novels.

Many years ago I bought - off of one of the discounted-remainder tables (so, it was like $1) - a book, non-fiction, that distinguished between French chateaus and English castles. Some of them are huge and sprawling [I mean the chateaus, not the remainder tables]. In fact, it's said there was once a French lawyer/government official who literally lost his head largely because his chateau had outgrown that of the King's.

Oh, Spells for Forgetting was my favorite 2022 book and got into my favorite of all time list for sure. It's amazing
I read any man in 2 sittings prob would have read it in 1 but u know have to sleep and things. 5 stars! Loved the mixed media. Beautiful book.

I absolutely love Heart Bones! Read it a few years ago, it's up there in my Colleen faves. And I'm not much of a graphic novel person but took a college graphic novel lit class (was fun), and my favorite we read for it was The Encyclopedia of Early Earth by Isabel Greenberg. It's basically a kind of fantasy, with a bittersweet love story, bird gods, a global adventure, funny footnotes. Kinda crazy but I recommend!
The movie we need to talk about Kevin is so disturbing but so good. Also very jealous you got an arc of romantic comedy
I love Saga! It's my favorite graphic novel as well.

The author of romantic comedy wrote a collection of short stories I really enjoyed it called, "You think it, I'll say it" or something like that. She has also written several other books, I hope you'll try one of them some point!

Recently I also read an ARC of The Golden Spoon which releases soon, and it's so good! I hope you read it :) supposed to have a full cast audiobook too which I'll probably listen to even though I already read it physically. And they're making a Hulu show for it apparently!

i just finished Bandit Queens and it’s not a thriller. More of a LitFic/Cozy Friendships/Female Rage/Kill the Bad Men Who Abuse Their Wives And Do Other Bad 💩 story.
Like don’t get me wrong, there are some awful men in this story. But I’m also laughing hysterically in between the moments of pain because the women’s relationships to each other are so relatable.
Also the dog is adorable.
