That moment when the Paralympic time is faster than the normal Olympic time
Algerians 1500m Masters, New World Record
Algerians special in 1500 m in the world
ALGERIAAAAAA NEW RECOR , CONGRATULATION BAKA
Much Respect for the Baka brothers.. I'm really impressed
and this is better than the 1500m in the normal olympics by the way
But slower that the 1936 Olympics!
Yep by 1.71 seconds
Jeremy, Go compare the winning time to the winning time of the Men's 1500m in the Olympics THEN the world records. It's unusual (Apart from Markus Rehm in the T44 Long Jump) for people with a disability to beat someone who doesn't.
They didn't beat the able bodied runners!
Their "record" time was over 20 seconds slower than men in the able bodied race can run.
That represents over 150m!
Put another way, in a paced Diamond League race, the handicapped runners wouldn't even be in the finishing straight when the the Olympic class able bodied runners had finished the race.
The winner's time of that year ("able bodied runners" gold medal) was 3:50.00 (USA M. Centrowitz). The time for the FOURTH (4º) paralympic racer was 3:49.84 (F. Baka).
happy and inspired to see paralympians breaking olympic records
proud of all of them, they ran their hearts out.
ALMOST TAKEN OVER BY ALGERIAN...BUT PROUD OF TAMIRAT WON SILVER TO ETHIOPIA! PEACE LOVE AND ONENESS TO ETHIOPIA. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Proud of you my Algerian 🇩🇿💪🏼
Bravo!!! Fier de ce sportif Algerien
The Brazilian with the long hair has such bad form and yet he still managed to get to the front on pure guts alone. Incredible.
j'ai les larmes au yeux, bravo, one two three
Bravo Champion !
Thanks for the video!
wow thnks for the video and great running ,😊😊.
why cant they just run in the olympcis and win it there. thats crazy
Some races are slower because they're more tactical, if they ran in the Olympics they would've been out kicked at the end
Bravo Algeria :)
the Champ is here !!!!
incredible.. the time clocked is faster than olympics gold medal time
hangaku selenggara Cause the Olympics was a slow tactical race
It was slow and tactical, the guys in the normal olympics were not going for time, if they were they would have gone 20 seconds faster
still incredible though
Félicitations grand champion
These men have hearts of lions!!
Bravo Baka. Excellent.
hamdoulah . merci baka les 2 baka
Amazing
Bravo vive l'Algérie
Algeriano, who writes in French? Are you sure? What with arabic language?
i dont like arabic language
Un grand bravo..............
mille bravo champion
Chapeau Ellah yberek
Can the silver medalist not see at all??
he mustve misunderstood where the goal was
he suddenly stopped running n appealed for peace that mightve been done after race.
viva my country VIVA
Allah yaatik mayetmena Algerien hour
BRAVVOOOOO....
Please don't say that this dude would win the Olympics easy, guess he can't close in 50sec...
He wouldnt need to run the closing 400m in 50 seconds, because he ran more even splits. The regular 1500m is a disgrace, if you don't think so you're contributing to the problem. Why is the 1500m the only even where we don't expect the best times like 800, we watch track to see people run their best, not play mind games and run hs times
bravo baka
this is so so beautiful, Centrowitz Jr, gotta go faster in Tokyo.
Top three faster than Rio Olympics gold medalist... Respect
the Olympic 1500 was a slow tactical race
Ben L what is slow tactical means
pranesh kumar meaning the race wasn't run at a fast pace. The runners chose to run at a slower pace than they are capable of running to save their energy for a sprint finish. You see slow tactical races a lot in championship style races. Where the goal isn't to run a fast time, but to just win. It's very hard to run in the front and run a fast pace so no one does it. They all run slow and wait for their opportunity to make their move.

All except Steve Pre
He was famous for always running hard
Sadly he never had the chance to show the world how good he really was
Gone at such a young age
one two three !!!
What could I say ? Wow ! Beat a normal man ! Just wow !
TUNISIA♡♡
Sorry for my ignorance but what is the differences between the Olympic and paraolympics
wow wow Ethiopia yes yes yes my Ethiopian👏👏👏👌👌👌
pro
Am i wrong or the Ethiopian could win the race if he didn't think to do Oromo Protest Symbol?? What a fool!!
Yess that's right , i saw him
I thought he was going to pass him.
Leonard Tough Yea, he was at the edge on winning.
1.2.3 viva l'algerie
I would be embarrassed if I was Matthew Centrowitz, or any of the Olympic runners.
Algerian's tiger :)
12.3 Viva l'algerie
What is T12/T13?
proud
Too much wind in the eye socket.
haha
Only I can't see what kind of problems do they have?
🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿
Asble kha gya
Did the 2nd place finisher not know where the end was -- is this what makes him "para", he's not quite aware, what now is called "special"? (Seemed like he was closing and had a chance to win, but entirely gave up at the very end with a few steps left)
Think he had just given it all he had got and knew he wouldn't overtake. Such a great race, right?!
1.2.3 viva l'algerie
What qualifies someone to run in this race? A LOT of these guys look completely normal
This race is for athletes with a vision impairment and so they run with a guide. You can find out more about athletics classification here: www.paralympic.org/athletics/classification
dz twin power
what are paralympics for?
people who are disabled
why does the ethiopian runner in the inside lane make a gesture to slit his own throat as his name was announced? why does no one comment on it?
I honestly can't tell how these runners are "disabled"
viva Algéria
Awesome 💪 What distance?
Starting brasil buildup karma as finishing
Bruh they two should have been allowed in the Original Olympics to kick(or pressurize) all the runners(Including Matthew Centrowitz Jr) in the Rio Olympic 1500m Final coz it was so slow (Although it was tactical) and also one more thing, if Genzebe Dibaba was to break her own 1500m WR(World Record) again she could have probaby even went sub 3.50 then that could be kinda embarassing LOL
I don't get it.... What's the difference of this and the actual Olympics
Hi Ruth. The athletes in this race are T13 athletes. This means that they have a Visual impairment. You can learn more about Para athletics classification here: www.paralympic.org/athletics/classification
They look normal to me
I think they don't have proper vision. That I'd why they kept stumping.
Viva #OromoProtests
1 2 3 ....
..VIVA ISRAEL !
The Algerian world record. has been dedicated to Palestine :)
ok si tu veux, mais tu n'as pas le son qui colle :P
HAMOU Mohamed C'est clair xD

Athletes competing in the T13 category have a visual impairment. Follow this link to learn more about Para athletics classification: www.paralympic.org/athletics/classification
