Apple has had a big 2023. iPhone 15, M3 MacBook Pro, and of course, the announcement of Apple Vision Pro, their AR/VR headset. We got some new info including the fact that it may be coming in January or February!

GREAT video! You got a lot of little details that I haven't heard. ALSO, since Apple says the Vision pro STARTS at 3,499.00 that might mean there are other models and they could contain the M3 etc chips.

One of the major delays could also be due to distribution and how to purchase via the Apple Store (fitting) (i.e. the process details are not worked out yet).

it's so funny that something that makes us feel like we are really there may feel weird on our heads, but we lift weights, run, wrestle for hours on end and think that's okay but we complain about something that feels weird to wear....

Thank you for not jumping on the Outrage Bandwagon that AVP is "delayed" to March, when in fact "early 2024" does mean anytime in the first part of the year. They knew not to pigeon-hole themselves into a specific target date far out when so much was still in the works (and let AirPower be the ultimate lesson in announcing a new product too early). Good coverage on all the things we currently know about the product, and the rumors on the next-gen and cheaper models. Although it likely will be a very specific early-adopter audience for this first product, it undoubtedly will test the market, and future iterations will reflect the direction, similar to how Apple Watch was first marketed as a luxury device with the Edition, but as the consumer base determined that was not going to replace old-school watches, the fitness and health features became more prominent, affecting all future models, and the "pro" kinda became Ultra? AVP will do the same -- is it a productivity device, an entertainment device, or a Mac alternative.
Some of the cool features such as Spatial Video, if executed well, will be the start of the future we all dreamed about (ex. iPad is the Star Trek tablet).
Yes, yes, the price point is a hurdle for many, but that's why it's "Pro" -- look at a spec'd out MacBook Pro, twice the price of an AVP. Agree on the M2 vs. M3 chip -- that was surprising M3 came out in Oct, but makes sense they didn't want to announce M3 with WWDC since they added more Mac with M2 variants. But given that they use the Mx chip for Macs will also be used in AVP, maybe the options will be similar -- you can upgrade to different levels (although not sure how that would be handled heat-wise for the higher variants).
It'll be an exciting early 2024. Now just need to understand how this will be ordered, fitted with pick-up, and planning security getting home! lol.

Phones and watches will connect to Vision Pro for immersive experience. A repaired phone from 3rd party will not connect right to the Vision Pro. Has to be apple parts.
