    Love your videos. If you come down Teignmouth way this summer and fancy a day out on a SIB give me a shout. I've got a Carbon Pro 365 with a Tohatsu 20HP. Weekends only 🙂

    I've been fishing a few times out babbacombe this season on kayak. More or less exactly the same results as yourself. You can get some decent wrasse around long quarry. I keep hearing that there's a trench about 300 meters off hopes nose, but I cant see much on the Navionics charts...

    Lovely video again. Feel a bit jealous hehe. My plan was on 25 April night fishing in Whitby but unfortunately we are lock down, so in this case need push my trip in future. Hope will not so long.
    All the best to everyone and stay safe
    Tight lines after lock down

    Hi, it would be interesting to hear how you plan a kayak trip regarding weather and tide? And which weather reports you look at. Do you use the ebb when you launch and the flood for when you return to shore? so your not paddling against tide? This video looked like there was practically no tide run like a neap tide?

    • @SaltwaterAngler
      @SaltwaterAngler  Před 3 lety

      XC weather for reports. I use tidal flow to travel to marks but if the fishings going to be good I’ll drive up the coast to launch ! I’m not too familiar with this venue but not much tide when I was there

    Nice bit of fun fishing there 😃😃😃 next time try drifting a live joey or small pollack on the float hook em through the nose should be interesting tight lines.

      @SaltwaterAngler  Před 6 lety

      Great thanks for the heads up.I tried free lining a joey on a trebble on to the usual spots maybe next time im definately going back. Never considered using a pollack another good idea

    • @SaltwaterAngler
      @SaltwaterAngler  Před 3 lety

      Indeed. I had an experience of them all around the kayak once a little unnerving but a reminder of how they are so adapted to the marine environment as we are as humans are

      Yea now my gopro are getting older I'm going to start doing that more. The rig is all set up ready to go just waiting for the right conditions. Not sure how much we would see though at that depth.

    Sorry to say this but the music is just awful, irritating and unnecessary. Sitting in a kayak offshore is silent and peaceful. Transmit that. Otherwise it's a mess with the poor editing and substandard camera work. For inspiration watch The Fish Locker or Riverside With Me.
