    Hey Folks, wanted to see how far I could push Ghost Weapons before the scaling overtook me; late 40's become quite tough. I do think 50+ is possible with Ghost Weps but would require a really, really strong start.

      Hey sorry to ask here but I can’t seem to find where I can write a new comment (even th I can answer… anyway).
      I’d like to understand your thought process (so no criticism here 😊)
      - why so much attack speed? After the second community support you had more than enough to be confortable. Was it to make up for the range and attack from farther away while still being super fast?
      - on the same topic why didn’t you switched for more ghost axes earlier? You already had plenty atk speed. Is % damage not as useful ?
      - you passed up many shady potions (not sure so the +20% luck - hp regen) and ducks while saying you wanted more luck. We’re you prioritising looking for something else?
      - I asked in an earlier video but why skipping the xp booster items? I remember you answering that the xp maths are not so simple and they aren’t really worth it. Th the more I watch your videos the more I’m wondering if those “free” (no real neg aside from the items prices) stats might have helped you fix some issues (speed for instance).
      Dunno if you’ll see this.
      Anyway thanks for the content.
      Good day 😊
      Edit 😅 : I heard there was diminishing returns to having too much attack speed (hence the question)

      @@shush0202 Hey, I'll dig into a few of these (appreciate the well-thought out comment)
      Yes, I wanted to scale attack speed since we were going to have so much range. There isn't a perfect science to it, I just knew I wanted a ton. I don't play with 200+ range on melee very often 😎
      On points two and three; when I record videos I usually play as if I will get the specific items I am looking for because if not, I usually don't have a powerful enough run to show off. In this case, I was aggressively re-rolling for 'home run' items - specifically the anvil (and earlier the retromation hoodie). In retrospect, given how long it took me to find the anvil, I should have prioritized luck earlier. I was also waiting until we had received the anvil before swapping out to more axes, unfortunately by the time the anvil was secured it was too late to go full axes (as I had wanted). In regular runs for folks it's likely more effective to spend down efficiently rather than 'hunt' for items like I often do - but again the comes down to the reality of trying to showcase content.
      I'd agree that a little more XP could have been useful in this run. To your other point, attack speed does have quicker diminishing returns compared to % damage.
      But usually some of my less efficient choices boil down to: I usually record 5 to 10 takes for videos, and because of the nature of this process I look more for specific items than a 'regular' player should. I try to intersperse more 'normal' runs in my channel to counteract this - but the analytics are clear that my 'broken' runs do waaay better, so I do what I can to showcase those when possible.
      Hope that makes sense, thanks again for stopping by

    Exponential enemy scaling is wild in endless

    • @SeanTIER
      @SeanTIER  Před rokem +3

      Agreed, it's funny because with throwers/alien eyes you sort of miss how strong the enemies are getting (and how quickly)

    I might be wrong but, isnt the silver bullet added after? so its technically 25% MORE damage on bosses?

      Hey, it looks like you are correct - I misunderstood how that works! I appreciate the clarification, definitely would have made it more effective here.

    I would like to see if the ghost dodge character can make it extremely far because 90% dodge and say 10 nullifies would make it op because they stack, you could survive roughly 100 hits

    • @SeanTIER
      @SeanTIER  Před rokem

      I played around with it previously, the dodge is nice but the character falls enough behind on DMG where it probably isn't worth it. If you had the luckiest of all lucky runs and got a ton of hunting trophies it'd probably be pretty strong.

  • @Tamperkele
    @Tamperkele Před rokem

    Does Hunting trophy need a nerf? Maybe made unique or something?

    • @SeanTIER
      @SeanTIER  Před rokem +2

      I think the game should be re-balanced in some fashion so it's not such a requirement for endless mode. For now, if you don't have multiple hunting trophies in early endless you really reduce your ability to go further. Capping them at three could be a decent option, or just reducing the penalty for the materials that are dropped.
      I personally expect endless to be rebalanced/changed with the next patch.
