Have you got a GPSMAP 65 GPS unit and are you in the UK?

@@craigarons8492 In the UK this unit shows our National trails and other long distance trails, It sounds like you will not have this in the US. The only thing I could suggest is updating the unit to see if it appears after that.

I want the time to always be displayed on way points. How do I do that?
Hi to you mean display a databox that advises eta time to a single waypoint that you are navigating to or someting else?
If you are following a Route and have also marked single waypoints along the route the Active Route menu shows distance to waypoints coming up, hope this helps

Yes it does.

No you do not.
Only if you want to get garmin in reach with 2 way texting emergency service on garmin gps models that have a I next to the # like the 66i or 67i
