I really enjoyed this roleplay. Not just because of how relaxing it was, but also because I've always been fascinated with the whole artisan of watch/clockmaking and repairs. I just find the whole process to be quite tranquil and interesting. It's always been a secret desire of mine, that if i didn't have to work for a living and money was no object, I would love to just go off the grid for a while and become like a watchmaker's apprentice or something. Keep up the good work, you're one of my favourite ASMRtists.
Awesome video, but just one thing, the NH34 is the GMT variant of the NH36, and transforms the former day-wheel mechanism to a 24-hour hand (GMT). So there would have been a small metallic spacer to go between the GMT pinion and the dial, to maintain preload. If you aren't installing a GMT hand as in this case, then it isn't required. Just know that you can upgrade to a GMT just by installing a new hand at the bottom of the stack! Thank you again for this video, this is something I have done as a hobby for years so it's great to see something in ASMR!

At one stage you made the comment ‘almost surgical,’ and this summed up so well the care and attention you put into creating the watch. As a watch snob I appreciate the accuracy of this video. Most watch related ASMR is in accurate and covers poorly made watches. So thank you for you knowledge of watches … you did the research. But, at the end, is the watch upside down? Or did you put the straps on in reverse on purpose?
Ahhh well I'm certainly no expert but I've picked up little pieces over the years. I'm really glad it wasn't frustrating for a watch enthusiast to view. The strap was actually for my own sake :D
Well I think its a great suggestion but I've done 2 tutor type videos in the past I think and they were my worst performing videos unfortunately. I mean I could still do it but let's see :D

This is absolutely true! However I don't use the gmt hand and I also find mounting a seconds hand at the top of this busy post quite challenging :D
