- We fly through the Los Angeles Class B without an ATC clearance using the LA special flight rules area (SFRA). Fly low over LAX and enjoy the incredible views while not even talking to any ATC agency.

I love how you show us your route and plan with the sectional chart. As an aspiring pilot, this really helps understand what you're doing in real time. Super cool, super helpful. Please, don't stop. Lol, thanks!
In 1974 we transitioned NW bound LAX and saw the BIGGEST DC-8 in the world out the left side about 500 feet away coming at us and going over the top of us ! Scared the hell out of us.
I'm so glad I found your channel through the algorithm...as a college private pilot (not on track to become a commercial pilot), I don't get much flight time and your videos are super entertaining and teach me a ton!
I'm a KTOA-based private pilot and just recently found your channel. It's really great to see such high quality content around SoCal! The two main things I warn visiting pilots about is the SFRA and Catalina's non-standard pattern entry/bird nesting area. Thanks for this video and keep up the great content!
Although we have a VFR corridor through Houston’s Class Bravo, they require you to call them up. I have no clue why, as it’s easier than LAX SVFR corridor, by far! You’ve got a solid channel, just found it and catching up on your vids during COVID, thanks man!
Thank you! Love these looks at flying SoCal!
Very nice video! Subscribed! The New York Class B Hudson River Exclusion Zone became a SFRA about 10 years ago and navigation through it is similar...make abbreviated position calls to other aircraft while enroute. Spectacular views, particularly at night. My wife and I recently flew the entire route at 600ft including a circle around the Statue of Liberty! Big fun!
Loving these videos, keep’em coming!
Great video, man!
Wow great video 👍. Loved the maps, graphics, and explanations. Great editing too. Subscribed and can’t wait to see more!
Love this your so calm, I don’t fly in much controlled airspace but I get stressed, be nice to feel more comfortable.
Great video on the special flight rules procedure!
Love your style of video editing. Very informative as well. Subscribed.
This video is gold! Very straightforward and the graphics were helpful, I'm flying LGB-LVK tomorrow as PIC and will be using this route for the first time. Looking forward to doing it!
Such a great video. The use of graphics and the map really set this video apart. Learning so much from you, I really appreciate it. Keep up the great work.
Fantastic video. Quality, special effects on the hwy and map is really good!
Watched this video on Monday, flew through the SFRA with my instructor on Tuesday. Thanks for the video- it was a huge help!!
This is so helpful-thank you!
My buddy flew us through there from VNY to AVX at Catalina and it was fun watching those heavies land and take off from LAX right below us. Plus the view is spectacular!
great graphics, keep em coming...
