@@DramaSydETV Well I won't name names, but I know of two artists in particular that have some pretty rude fans. I tend to read all the comments on all these Angelina videos, and I rarely ever see any rude behavior. Angelina is not going to bring in Dimash level views, but she is going to bring good people into your channel. ...and there is one big upside to doing reactions to Angelina.... you get to listen to Angelina while you do them ;)
(also keep in mind that there is a good chance that all these Angelina videos you are doing now are going to get a big surge in views in January when tons of new people discover her for the first time on AGT)
@@DramaSydETV or it could be that they are internet trolls, or have mentall issues/illness or psychiatric diagnosis.. I meet a lot of people with lack of social antennas and mental problems in my professional work. Aggression and lack of common sense like politeness may occur then.
The best answer is to ignore the trolls which is just commenting to cause pain, and interact withe the people who actually care about your whole reaction. Greetings from Norway 😇
Angelina doesn’t sing songs. She sings emotions that go directly to our souls creating beauty and joy. This is Angelina’s world. We just live in it (thank goodness)!
Number 1. She is the queen of the universe of velvet voice mixed with rasp on top. Angelina can make a cover of everyone, but no one can cover her. THERE IS NO THERE WITH SO MANY LAYERS ON LAYERS IN THEIR VOICE.

This is another example of an Angelina cover song that is ready for the recording studio, just like "A Million Years Ago." For another recent one ready to go to the studio, try her cover of Frankie Valli's "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You." It's so smooth & beautifully done. To me, she is already a one=name star & after her appearance on America's Got Talent: The Champions (by invitation only) in January 2020, she will be on her way to becoming "Angelina." No need for Jordan or Astar! In a couple of years, she's going to be that BIG!

Love your reactions and respect the way you think. Of coarse we shouldn't be talking about who is the better singer here. Instead we should just appreciate them both for there own unique qualities. It's of course permitted to have a favorite version of a song, but that doesn't have to mean that you must think any less of another performer. I love both Angelina AND Adele and there is definitely room in this world for two great talents like them at the same time...

You got this. They are different individuals one is a child the other a seasoned performer, as you were stating. Trolls don't matter because folks who have to lessen others have no self esteem or self worth. Not your issue, just theirs. This was probably my favorite of this young singer right now.

I personally have a very hard time with the word better as it relates to music. Some performances hit one person some hit another. So I appreciate your perspective on that. That said: Angelina is truly a treasure and she seems to be able to hit me way deep inside with songs that haven't ever hit me there before.

This my take on Angel Jordan: I can't comprehend how she can sing so well what she couldn't possibly understand the meaning of because of her age. She sings about powerful adult emotions of hurt and loss that a child couldn't grasp, much less articulate so perfectly. She's definitely a prodigy, but it's my guess is that she mimics other great voices without experiencing their real-life pain and suffering. How could she? And her parents seem to make sure she has a normal, and healthy childhood (good for them -- God bless them). As great and fascinating as she has been (she's been doing this since she was tiny), her potential will be endless as an adult. No need to hurry that process, though. Everything in God's time.

Jeff Stumpf, I agree with most of what you say. I just want to add one thing only. Young people who play blues are forever being said to not be able to feel the pain that a true blues player goes through to being able to play the way they do. This is something I DON'T agree with. I've been playing guitar with friends for 50 years and I can tell my thoughts from my own experience. I've witnessed some very talented self thought young musicians as a kid. And one thing I've learned is that a musician does NOT need to experience life for years to know how to express music from what's innately inside them. You can still feel every note you sing or play without going through the trials of life. Music is about feeling something that's inside you. If you can somehow let that come outward then you have mastered feeling it. NO pain is necessary. Maybe it can help others to feel it, but that is not how it has to be. And like many other young talented musicians we have been seeing lately, Angelina is another who expresses herself through music. She may not be able to do that socially like she can musically, but that's what music is for. It allows even children to say something with all their soul.
I agree with you, Jeff, when you say that this child cannot comprehend the meaning of the lyrics. I say that, being a very good actress, Angelina can convey different emotions, even though she has never experienced their meanings (for instance, when asked by one of the judges of NGT if she understood what she was singing, she answered, about Gloomy Sunday, yes, it s about a sad Sunday. With only the knowledge of what it is to be sad herself at times, she convincingly and credibly acted the story, like she did many times later, for instance for the song If you go away.
Same reasoning for the voices of her covers. But i would not say that she is mimicking them, altough it may sound like a mimicking ability. For each cover, she uses the voice that corresponds to the story. For instance, again for the song If you go away, which voice would you say she is supposedly mimicking?

There are some people who are just in a league of there own. Angulina Jordon is one. Someone else who is like that is a composer. Alma Deutscher started playing piano at age 2 violin at 3 and composing at 4. She's already a one name composer in the classics world, like Mozart or Beethoven. And she is amazing to watch perform. Please do this one. Even if you don't like classical music I think you will be very impressed. And keep in mind that she wrote the whole thing. She is playing Carnegie Hall this month performing her violin concerto, her piano concerto songs from her second opera and her Viennese waltz. She is 14. She wrote her first oprah at 7 second at 10 both in German. She is English. I'm not an opera fan but that just blows my mind.

People who get all butt hurt when anyone disagrees with them...I don't get that. They must be very young, either chronologically or emotionally. It's quite possible (and you always do) to respect the talent whether you actually like something or not. But if someone says something you don't agree with, it's no call to be nasty or to make a personal attack. If you're mature and reasonable, you discuss it like rational adults and then agree to disagree. Of course most people are going to request a reaction to something they like! But to expect you (or anyone) to feel the same way...that's unreasonable; and to attack them personally, well that's just immature and wrong. Beyond the simple talent, all art is totally subjective and, I think, about what emotions it stirs. It's not humanly possible for everyone to be affected the same way. So just listen, think about it and if you agree, fine. If not, also fine. Darlin', you just keep on keepin on. You can't and shouldn't want to be anybody but your own fine self!

he over sings every song and sometimes his arrangements are not good. I stand by my words and no he is NOT better or even close to the late great Freddie Mercury, my opinion!

My normal inclination is to not cast aspersions or be critical of anyone, but Angelina just tipped over Adele's boat!
I am more likely to listen to a new (for me) artist that you react to than most other reactors because I trust you more than others. When you react to something I don't like - i don't listen, I am not going to complain. In a situation like this, where a singer is covering a song where I an an enthusiastic fan of the original, I am not listening to compare - in this case - her to Adele. I am listening to enjoy the performance, to listen to the emotions in her voice. To me, how her performance compares to Adele is not an issue for me. I enjoyed it. Thank you!
