First off enjoy your time in the beautiful mountains, I love North Conway. Second I have looked to see how far the trail is and it can be a little confusing. I was following a friend who had the map so I'm not sure but looking on AllTrails I found several trails in that area. I know we took a mountainous dirt road through the woods for about a mile or two then landed at the trail head. From there I would say about a mile and a half to get to the mineral site. I hope that helps and enjoy your trip!
@adventuringinthemoment we arrived here yesterday afternoon looking to do it this week if the weather permits I brought some gardening tools along with a couple hammer and chisel We have a time share at eastern slopes north conway is my favorite place its a relief to get away from the crowded city back home Thanks for the reply and advice
@@sirhc07 Sounds great, I also forgot to mention at the trailhead there is tons of good information and make sure you follow the signs because that will get you right where you need to be. Most of all have lots of fun and hopefully you will find way better minerals then us, lol.

Vacationing in north Conway the final week of July how long is the hike I've read 1 mile but i could be mistaken

Great question! We didn't find it too difficult and we had two little kids and two not-so-little kids.
