- i'm a classic rock junkie and i've loved this song since i was a little kid and heard it on the radio, so i thought i'd give it a shot.
one of my mics kept popping so you may hear a pop like 3 or 4 times throughout the song...
but other than that i thought it was pretty good, a little rough in some parts.
but whatever, enjoy and let me know what you think!
note: the video is unedited.
i do not own the copyright for this song. it is used only for creative and educational purposes. - Hudba
Hit those drums harder, man, that makes it sound a thousand times more convincing! And I'm not only talking about the intro.
@Warren Jimmy Yea, have been using Flixzone for years myself :D
amen
Ginger would be proud. He's a grumpy effer, but you really nailed it!
Ginger is glad he's dead....after hearing this half-ass effort. And I did it better in high school. 45 years ago.
@@tommynikon2283 Shame you're a dickhead though, isn't it.
I'm 53 years old & this kid is excellant. There weren't many videoes in the good ol days of the drummers; which are the backbone of the group. ssdewayne
I remember back when this song hit the jukebox (yes, I said jukebox!). It was probably the first time we rock listeners learned what Zildjian cymbals were.........GREAT job!
WOW! I loved it. You did a great job. I am not a drummer, just a wanna be. Really fun to see it done up close Thanks for giving an old man a nice musical treat (68 yrs)
Can't believe he's about 28 now. Awesome cover!
I'm 27 and had no idea this video was this old at first xD
Great job. I love Ginger Baker's work on this song, especially his fill just before the second verse. You have a great taste in music.
Awesome video man, really makes me want to get into drumming again
this is one of my fave classic rock songs too! great job!
i love how you have two drum sets in the same room! haha
17 right now, 16 when i made this video.
And now you are about 28 year's old😀✌🏻
Hahah I’m here in 2020 😂
Nice work man! Respect to you.
I've always loved the drums in this song!
Maravillosa versión. Disfruto una y otra vez de ella deseando un día poder hacerla yo.
This is practically flawless. Phenomenal job.
Very nicely done. First time I've seen anyone doing a cover of this song that actually did the different tones of the toms during the intro and bridge.
another good drummer on youtube.
I'm also really big into classic rock since last year. gotta respect it.
great job man. really good.
Your solid as hell! Awesome!
Excellent job!!! Wish I could play!!!!
you nailed it, the sound is amazing
dude that was a kickk ass cover nice best cover ive seen yet.
The first thing I noticed was the four Zeppelin signs on the back of your shirt! You sound like Ginger Baker too. It's great!
Really good job! Listening without watching, you nailed it!
Best drum cover of this song by far!! great job!!
Hey man, really appreciate this cover you did. I just started with my band a few months ago and we added this song to our set list. I'm still learning the song but this got me a good head start.
Awesome song and cover dude!

Best cover I’ve found

very accurate, first class feel
Classic, nice. I like it.
thanks, i appreciate it.
more is on the way, just polishing off two or three more songs.
P.S. to anyone: i will take requests if you have them.
beautiful mate !!!
Great syncopation and you caught those open hh notes going into fills that most guys seem to miss. Excellent attention to the myriad of subtly nuanced notes and a tribute to Ginger.
Well done young man.
you're a really good drummer !! = )
Good cover dude!!! Keep rippin it up myan!! Sweet!!!
Love that part at 4:41

Nice job, man. Good cover
Nailed it. nice job.
Alright, I'd like to see you do Wait a million years by Grass Roots, NICE job man great cover!
excellent!
Great!
Thanks for the cover; I can't help but think of the vid of Cream playing this at Royal Albert Hall.
Great !!!!
You nailed Baker's bass drum work. nice job!
Liked the cover alot! Very dynamic. I know it was 2 years ago but "Thumbs up". Good drum audio.
Brilliant job.
I actually think you play it better than Ginger ever did live; every time I've heard him play it live, he just doesn't hit that groove! Well done!
awsome.
hey! thanks for commenting on my vids. i've checked out yours before, including your Separate Ways video (while it was up at least). You're really good and i love the occasional stick tricks :P
Darn good job. I like the camera angle. Sure helps to see what's moving when. Thanks for posting.
nice song. nice cover
Excellent cover...Pretty much note 4 note...Good job!
the break before 4.05 ( or the guitar solo) is an interlude of 10 bars of 5/4 time with the last 2 bars of 5/4 time playing the crash and bass drum play on 1 of bar 1,if you count 1/4 notes rest in your head for 2,3 4,5 and 1 to 5 of bar 2 and come in at 1 of the next bar which is 4/4 time playing the high hat and bass drum....your timing will be correct...
@CMD9889 It's a fermata. You just have to know that you need to come in with everyone else.
Good job !
MUy. CHINGON MUY BUEN COVER
Nice job, I play the drums and sing White room and will suggest it again to my present band. I like that you play the fills during the verse without cymbal crashes , you have a good ear. I am only using a single mounted tom and a floor so will the drum fills to the 10 accents will be a little inventive , love your playing and I bet your a monster on the drums now.
the bass drum souns really good
Solid
coooooooool version!!!!!
@drumdasnare Pro-Mark 7As with nilon tips are amazing. I don't know what you're talking about, Rock Bands sticks are thicker than 7As.
Geez, that's pretty dog gone good! It looks like a Slingerland kit too!
@CMD9889 Starting with the cymbal crash on "1" it's a count of 10 or 2 1/2 measures of 4/4.
I WANT THOSE HEADPHONES
nice job
Nice cover like that you also use Bose headphones I do the same... Is that a Ludwig CS Combo in the background cause I have one of those too? Nice stuff :-)
@CMD9889
there's a certain number of rests, though I never counted them, I just knew the feel. You can count them if you tap your foot though.
Nice!
Nice job, been working on this song for a while. Only been drumming maybe 6 months or so. On the fast 16th note drum rolls, are they 4x4 or 2x4? My ear isn't that great yet.
it's cool, man. i don't doubt there are problems, that's half of why these videos are up here, for me to improve.
thanks for the input.
Not bad at all! Keep pounding.
FLAWLESS VIC... no wait... DRUMMING :)
thats a beautiful set, what make?
and great cover
same for me!
Well done...I would have been a little more forceful with the toms but you did fine...I like the sound of your bass...can you share the brand and model and how you enabled it to have that punch?...looks like a see a pillow in there....
NICE SHIRT!!!
@TJDrumline2009 i agree its hard to tell, we all interpret the song differently, but if you listen really close, you can hear to different pitched drums that sounds like toms or base drums doing the fill beats, maybe there combining with the snare, but theres definately alot to his rythym, i personally dont have a double base so i play it just like you do, i just like to think ginger baker was more capable of constructing a more complex rythym but either way you played it appropriate and good
nice!
fucking awsome man!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks. i actually have all my info in my profile regarding my set.
guys, chill, alright? it's no big deal how he worded it or whatever. and Gromster: i agree, it's a great song of Zeppelin, so maybe i'll give it a shot.
Interesting pause for sure. Most of the song is in 4/4 time, but the intro part, which is also used before the pause (the part with the cymbal/tom beat) is in 5/4 time, and the pause continues on in that tradition 2 more times, which equates to a pause of 10 beats, before it comes back in again at 4/4 time again for the outro solo.
Nice
