Once you put a gem in an item, is it stuck there forever or can it be removed and used on item upgrades?

yes it can be remove, but it will loss a level of upgrade on the gem

You might want to check that success % on armor, I enhanced my capri set, up to +5 but the gloves failed twice while trying to +1 those... I thought it might be a glitch tho.

Dang man, why your swordsman deal so many damage? Is it because of the flamini? I used primaluce instead way back then when i was 80ish

It's definitely part the Flamini. Excellent sword, that :D But most of the damage in that clip comes from sacrament and blessing.

i used primaluce back then and the AoE +5 helps a ton when grinding in royal masoleum.

You get 51% chance of success simply because here a failure attempt means LOSING one point of enchantment. So in the end, your chance of enhancing an item past +10 is quite low.
